It’s a soul soother being amidst the aura of the river. Listening to the water flow and birds sing is mighty therapeutic. Freshness all around, especially in the morning as the sun ☀️ starts peeking over the eastern horizon. Gotta be up early to receive that goodness.

Our team is set with the Navajo Nation to prop up our groovers along the beaches of the San Juan River! Let’s go boating..🛶

Another bonus to the recent visit to Monument Valley 🏜️ , was Ancient Wayves receiving the green light to provide our unique tours in the captivating redlands of that beautiful landscape. We’ll be making sandwaves in this region full of cultural and scenic beauty.

Earth-tone color hats are looking really nice!

We’ve always had our gear printed by “StrongHold Ink” which is Navajo-owned out of Farmington, NM.

Sharing a few photos from our fantastic 2024 river season! 📷

Our logo first made waves on the San Juan River in the Autumn season of 2022. 🔥 Last year was our second full season providing Indigenous river adventures and it was a remarkable one filled with fun and comradeship.

2025, the drive is to continue providing super cool tours for our awesome guests but we’ll always strive for uniqueness. 🪶

This year we’re super stoked to make waves on the waters again! 🌀

We’re excited to announce that in 2025, we’re expanding our operations to include guided tours in the spectacular lands of Monument Valley! 🏜️

This unique tour with a special itinerary will start and finish in Bluff, UT. During this scenic and cultural adventure, guests will also visit the “Valley of the Gods”, located north of the San Juan River.

We’re bringing the pow-wow vibes to the San Juan River. Our awesome friends “Lightning Horse” drum group will liven up the place with music and culture when they come out to join us for a Spring river trip.

Thanks to our awesome guests for sharing some snapshots from their October river trip with us. The pics remind us of all the wild fun we have along the river ranging from adventurous hikes to hanging out by the fire at camp. Bears Ears Partnership brought their friends out to the river where we became one big family!
