Your guide will cover all the major sites in the city center, including the Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, the sites of both Hiltler's bunker and Goebbels' bunker, the Deathstrip, Checkpoint Charlie, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Museum Island, and more. You'll learn how and why the Berlin Wall was constructed and see where daring escapes took place before its fall.
DAY 2:
Today is yours to explore! Take a picnic to the Tiergarten - one of the world's largest urban parks - or check out the 1,500 animal species housed in the Zoo Berlin. In the afternoon, take a somber visit to the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial.
SACHSENHAUSEN CONCENTRATION CAMP MEMORIAL WALKING TOUR
This guided walking tour of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp will help you understand what life was like as a prisoner and how some prisoners were able to survive while tens of thousands perished in conditions of appalling brutality. This camp became a training ground for the SS and the site of the headquarters of the whole concentration camp system
DAY 3:
After breakfast, your first adventure of the day will be the Potsdam and Sanssouci Tour. You'll have some time for lunch when you return, but don't eat too much - you don't want to be stuffed before your food and art tour of the Kreuzberg neighborhood!
POTSDAM AND SANSSOUCI TOUR
This guided tour will take you to the old garrison and residence town of Potsdam, famous for its splendid palaces and gardens. You'll receive an extensive tour of the Sanssouci Palace, a favorite refuge of the great Prussian King Frederic II and considered the German rival of the Palace of Versailles. Afterward, you'll take a stroll in Potsdam's magnificent park and explore the city's Dutch Quarter and the Russian Colony of Alexandrovka.
Nuremberg - 3 nights

Check out the medieval Kaiserburg Castle and attached museum, or visit the courthouse where N**i leaders were tried for war crimes during the Nuremberg Trials.
DAY 5:
After breakfast, meet in the lobby of your hotel for your private half-day tour through the city. In the afternoon, discover some of the city's more hidden treasures. Take a trip down into the Historicher Kunstbunker, a former bomb shelter where precious artwork was stored for protection during WWII. Add a touch of whimsy to your day with a visit to the Spielzeugmuseum, with its collection of computer gates, wooden and tin toys, and a play area for children.

Peruse the stalls of fresh produce or head to the Frauenkirche, an ornate Gothic church at the eastern end of the square. Learn about the history of the bahn in the German Railways Museum, featuring an interactive section for children. Make sure you take some time during the day to sample some traditional Nuremberg dishes. Sausages, tender pork knuckle with dumplings and gravy, and lebkuchen (gingerbread) are some of the city's most authentic offerings. Don't forget to wash down your meal with a cold Nuremberg brew.
Munich - 3 nights
DAY 7: Arrive in Munich
Pack your bags, grab some breakfast, and head to the hotel to meet the driver who will take you to the train station. When you arrive in Munich, a private driver will take you to your hotel. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own. In the evening, get ready for a delicious night tour of the city.
MUNICH BEER AND FOOD TOUR
On this Bavarian Beer Tour through Munich, our guides will give you lots of information and insights into the brewing industry in Germany and Bavaria. You want to know everything about beer? Then the Munich Beer Tour is just right for you. But the interesting information is certainly not the end of the story.
DAY 8:
Today will be a treat, as after breakfast you'll embark on a full-day tour of the Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Castles. When you return, grab some dinner - try a traditional pork chop with red-cabbage dumplings! - and return to your hotel for a sound night's sleep.
ROYAL CASTLES NEUSCHWANSTEIN AND LINDERHOF
This excursion takes you inside two extraordinary castles, both testaments to the visions of Bavaria's "fairytale king," Ludwig II. After a short shopping trip at Oberammergau, home of the Passion Play, you'll continue to Neuschwanstein Castle. The striking white structure towers above the Bavarian countryside and was the inspiration behind Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty's Castle. Next up is Linderhof, the smallest of the three palaces built by King Ludwig and the only one whose completion he was alive to witness. The palace's elaborate interior features an ostrich-down carpet, ivory candelabras, and an ornate Hall of Mirrors.
DAY 9:
Spend this final day enjoying Munich at your leisure. For a special treat if visiting in mid-November through December, be sure to plan visiting the sparkling Holiday Markets that light up Munich and across Germany.
MUNICH CHRISTMAS MARKET TOUR
Munich has been hosting Christmas markets for 600 years, and every year the medieval centre of town is transformed into a winter wonderland. The streets become cluttered with charming stalls selling every variety of classic decoration and gift in an atmosphere happy with the scent of roasted nuts and hot spiced wine. We make regular stops at the various stalls, and your guide tells you about the history of the markets, the meaning of the displays, and the Advent and Christmas rituals associated with them.
DAY 10:
Gather your belongings and head to the hotel lobby to meet the transfer representative who will es**rt you to the airport. Hopefully you've got enough souvenir beer steins and edelweiss bells to last you until your return. Auf wiedersehen!
