The story of this man, Colonel Harland Sandler who founded Kentucky Fried Chicken at 65years old is an inspiring one.

It inspires us in such a way that we are never too old to go after what we want.

Today, KFC has over 18,875 outlets over 118 countries and territories. It has about 4,563 outlets in China alone, KFC largest market.

It took one man daring to follow his dream even when others would have said "I am too old for this" "cooking is not a man's thing" or give any other excuse...to cause a paradigm shift in the cooking industry.

Thus, throughout the world, KFC finds its outlet somewhere.

You don't have to wait till you're old before you pursue your dream...you can start now!

And if you're old already, you still can.

I can imagine someone saying there are things you can no longer do when old...I stand to be corrected though when I say, there is absolutely nothing you set your mind to do that you can't do.

The world people may not welcome you into their team...but you can be your own team.

I've seen over 80years old people running in Olympic sport, I have seen aged people building body...

Just recently, I saw an elderly woman in a team of footballers balling and she was playing so well amongst the young folks...

Old , our Nollywood legend still tops his rap game and he is having so much fun and recognition doing so...

Do not let age be a limiting factor to keep you unproductive...do what you have always wanted...you have only one life, make use of it to satisfaction.

I hope you find this inspiring.

Ghosts of the Coal Mines
They were deprived of experiencing the sunlight and fresh air. Instead, they lived in darkness underground, relying on their instincts and the guidance of their human partners, known as conogons. These horses were born, worked, and perished in the dark, enduring strenuous labor. It was not uncommon for a single horse to pull up to eight heavy coal wagons alone. Despite their challenging circumstances, these animals maintained their dignity and were aware of their rights, such as refusing to move if they felt burdened with excessive wagons. They also possessed a remarkable sense of time, knowing when their working day should end and finding their way back to the stables even in darkness. This demanding work of horses in the mines continued until 1972 when technology took over, marking the end of an era. On December 3, 1972, Ruby, the last miner's horse, emerged from the mines in a grand fashion. Accompanied by an orchestra, Ruby, adorned with a flower wreath, was brought out of the darkness, symbolizing the conclusion of the era of mining horses and their connogon partners. To commemorate their shared labor underground, a sculptural composition named "Conogon" was erected within the Museum-Reserve "Red Hill."

To everyone bitching about Texas Roadhouse allowing that dog who was deployed twice, to eat a steak in the restaurant on Veterans Day, I'd rather sit next to him than rowdy, bratty kids all day long. I can guarantee that dog is cleaner and more quiet. He isn’t up being allowed to run around like he (and his parents) were raised in a barn!
