Falmouth Highlights, Paradise Beach Break and Lunch Excursion An exciting day that includes relaxation on the beautiful Paradise Beach and sightseeing of the hist Maybe take a stroll, take a dip, or just do nothing at all.

This day begins when you meet your guide at your Falmouth cruise terminal. You'll be shown to the air-conditioned transportation and will enjoy a 15-minute scenic drive to Paradise Beach. Aptly named, Paradise Beach has powdery sand, lovely waters, and swaying palms along with lounge chairs (Umbrellas are not included, but you can rent them for $10.00 USD each), or rented cabanas, which include be

ds, cushions, and white drapery. Your stop will be at the Blue Waters Beach Club where you can choose to just relax, or you can participate in the many activities the fun staff puts together. Listen to the reggae music that was born in Jamaica and learn some new dance moves from the friendly staffers. Additional non-motorized water sports are available on the beach, such as kayak, paddle boats, snorkel and more - pricing and reservations are made directly with the independent watersports operator. There are lockers and towel service at an additional charge. You may even want to upgrade once you are on-site to a cabana. Or get spoiled at the Blue Waters Spa with a Swedish massage. Please speak directly to your guide upon arrival for availability and pricing. Once you're refreshed and relaxed you will enjoy an authentic lunch that will include Jamaican jerk chicken, or pork plus one complimentary bottled water or soft drink. Jerk style is a unique Jamaican blend of spices used on grilled meat. Other drinks are also available for purchase. When your 3.5 hours at the beach has ended, your guide will let you know and it will be time to head off to Falmouth. Once you climb back on your air-conditioned transportation it's just a short ride to the historical town of Falmouth. Founded by Thomas Reid in 1769, Falmouth flourished as a market center and port for forty years while Jamaica was the world's leading sugar producer. What makes Falmouth so unique is that many of its early buildings are still standing. The streets are lined with numerous small houses known for their unique fretwork and windows. You'll have one hour to walk and visit the Old Georgian Building, Water Square, the Old Port, St. Peter's Anglican Church which was built in 1796, and the old Courthouse; built in 1817. The old Courthouse was once regarded as one of the finest structures in Jamaica. You may spend some time shopping (optional) before it's time to climb aboard your transportation one last time and be taken back to your Falmouth cruise ship terminal.
