Just tried Mountain Moose Noodles and Asian Street Food for the first time. Oh my! So incredibly delicious. Portions are huge and you can taste the love and care they put into their meals. Highly recommend if visiting North Conway. Located in Settlers Green.

Well we finally got our first major storm this Winter and I spent most of the day driving all around Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lake chasing it. This was one of my first stops but it wasn’t the only red barn I photographed yesterday. This was taken in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire. I have shot this barn before but was never happy with the outcome. Finally, the conditions were just right.

Are you taking any time off this month? As a proud small business owner, I am never "off" but I am looking forward to pausing from my full-time job and catching up on reading. I LOVE to read and one of my favorite bookstores is Innisfree right in downtown Meredith. I find it special that they highlight local authors, indie authors, as well as bestsellers. Does anyone have any recommendations for me?

Proof in one photo that you shouldn't be afraid to fail. John and I try when we can to foster dogs. A year ago, we fostered a dog that we weren't even supposed to get. We had previously been signed up for a different dog. As fate would have it, Rosie came into our lives and we couldn't give her up. Happy 1 year of being our foster fail, Rosie (pictured with her big sister Tessie).

We'd love to know...what do you look forward to most during the holiday season? For me, it is continuing the tradition of getting our extended friends and family together for a holiday celebration. My Nana and Pa used to gather our very large family together every year to eat Chinese food and open presents.

If it wasn't for them, I don't think I would have ever purchased our cottage in Meredith. They used to rent a small cottage near Cobbett's Pond in Windham, NH as a Christmas present for the family. Those are some of my happiest childhood memories and it was important to John and me to have a place to welcome our family once again.
