📣Hey parents, listen to this! Just a little tip in case you didn’t know, there are a couple of opportunities for kids to enjoy free play (and even get wet) 💦 at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. I know the parks are giant playgrounds themselves, but there is the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station, the Adventureland Tiki sprayers and spitting camel at Magic Kingdom as well as the new Journey of Water inspired by Moana and splash pads at EPCOT where getting drenched is bound to happen and be loads of fun.

🎒So maybe pack an extra set of clothes for those water play areas so you don’t have to be the meanest parents in the whole world and say NO to splashing around at Walt Disney World because you’ve got dinner reservations. 🙃 Anyone’s kids FLIP over any opportunity to get wet?

🤩🛝🐇If you only ever go down one more slide in your life, make it this one! The Oceaneer’s Club on the Disney Wish is accessible via an “Alice in Wonderland” themed slide. Here’s the catch, adults sailing on the Disney Wish, only have one chance to take advantage of sliding down the rabbit hole during the club’s Open House hours on embarkation day. So don’t hesitate if you want to channel your inner child. No worries, the stairs or elevators are always an option if slides don’t equal fun to you.

😬Do you know when Walt Disney World crowds can be the most manageable? During some of the hottest months of the year! 🥵 If you can handle the heat, here are some of the best places and some ways to avoid as Mater says, “dang near fainting”:

Connections Eatery at EPCOT: This place is massive and a great place to sit and regroup, AND it has Starbucks! 🧋

Upper level of PizzeRizzo at Hollywood Studios: Did you know there was an upper level?! There’s usually not many people up there, it’s nice and cool, there are lots of outlets to recharge your devices, and pizza! 🍕

Cooling neck towels: A lifesaver when the sun is bearing down and moods are starting to wilt. 🥀

A solid touring strategy: Rope drop, rest mid-day, come back for evenings (and schedule a table-service lunch for a break during the hottest time of day) 📝

☀️🐦 Early birds show yourselves! I’m not just talking about getting up to watch the sunrise on the ocean or to be the first in line at Magic Kingdom. If you also like to book and plan trips well in advance, stand up and take a bow! There are so many benefits to being an early bird. While I could list them out, they all have one thing in common-the feeling that you’re getting MORE for your money. More time, more savings and more enjoyment. And when it comes to parting with your hard-earned money, more is what you’re after.

I am a rope dropper! I love getting ahead of the crowd and getting in a couple top attractions in the half hour before the park opens. It ensures that I get to ride my favorite attractions with little wait and leaves time for my afternoon nap at the resort,

Sharing about FREE and FUN just never gets old. 🥳 At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and others (just ask when you check in if available at yours) there is a daily character hunt offered. 🔎Each day the resort’s mascot character is moved. Once you find it, take a photo with it and head to the front desk for your button and a location sticker. Search high and low each day for four days to fill your button with stickers. 🎉

I also just found this tip out! I can't wait to do this on my next Disney trip!

🧚‍♀️🧚🏻🧚🏾‍♂️On International Fairy Day, let’s sprinkle some extra pixie dust for the beloved fairy godmothers of Sleeping Beauty: Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather! These enchanting 'aunts' of Princess Aurora brought more than just color changing wands to the story. Probably most known for their debate over pink and blue for a dress color, they actually gave Aurora amazing gifts when she was born:

🕷️ Hey, Spider-Man super-fans: Did you know that Disneyland is where it’s at for the ultimate Spidey experience? Over at Disney California Adventure Park’s Avengers Campus, aspiring web-slingers can live out their superhero dreams in ways you’ve got to see to believe! From watching Spider-Man soar through the sky in an incredible aerial stunt show to helping Peter Parker in the interactive WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure ride, the adventures do not disappoint! And let’s not forget about the merch (hello, spider bots!🤖) and the chance to meet Spider-Man himself. 🕸️

Riding Web Slingers and watching the stunt show was a highlight of my Disneyland vacation. The attraction is so much fun competing against my family and the technology is amazing.

👋 Hola! Bonjour! Hallo! Jambo! Ciao! How about some fun facts about “it’s a small world”? 🩵💛💚🩷

It was part of the 1964 New York World’s Fair 🌎🎡

Its music was written by the legendary Sherman brothers 🎶

The Disneyland version includes characters from some of our favorite Disney movies like Cinderella, The Three Caballeros, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, and more 👸🦜🧜‍♀️🤠

Mary Blair created the iconic designs, and you can find more of her work around Disney’s Contemporary Resort 🎨

😍😠 Many people have, let’s say, strong opinions about the song, but it IS a classic and “the happiest cruise that ever sailed” should be experienced at least once.

I absolutely love this attraction. It's a must do for every trip. My favorite is the christmas overlay they do in Disneyland. The lights on the outside are beautiful and should be on every Disney fans bucket list!

Next time you’re in Magic Kingdom or Disneyland, grab a Lightning Lane, rest your feet for 10 minutes, and soak up the nostalgia of a “Walt ride.” Where are our “it’s a small world” fans? 👋

🐊 Crocs at Disney Parks - yay or nay? They're comfy, they're waterproof, but are they the ultimate theme park footwear? I'm super curious about your experiences! I’ll make it easy, choose one of these to tell us where you land:

Walt's love for his country was profound, and it shines through in the Hall of Presidents. Here you'll find not just an inspiring tribute to our nation's leaders but also a special exhibit dedicated to Walt himself. This display offers a unique glimpse into how his patriotism and vision shaped this beloved attraction.

Keep in mind as you experience the Hall of Presidents, you're not just witnessing a showcase of American history; you're also walking through a part of Walt's dream - a celebration of the values, hopes, and aspirations that define America. It's as powerful of a reminder of his legacy and enduring love for his country as it is a showcase for Disney Imagineering.

I enjoy this attraction. I try to sit up close, so I can see all the audio animatronics. They are amazing. Also, check out the episode on the Hall of Presidents on Behind the Attraction on Disney+. It's backstory is one of my favorites!

🐭 🏡 🎡 If you only know Magic Kingdom from the last 13 years or so, you may not know that Fantasyland used to have an area called Mickey’s Toontown Fair. You could meet Mickey at his house and Minnie at her house. The queue snaked through their homes where you could see their bedrooms and even snoop around their kitchens. 🎄 At Christmastime, there were even Christmas lights strung on the houses! That all came to end back in 2011.

I love new Fantasyland, however this brings back memories from my trips to Disney as a kid! I loved going through Mickey's house. It was so cute!

😃 If you’re feeling a little sad you missed out on Toontown or just miss it in general... SURPRISE! Disneyland still has Toontown and it’s WAY bigger (dare I say better?) than the Magic Kingdom version was. 🎉

☔️ 🏰 🐼 🦚 Ponchos seem to get all the glory when it rains at Walt Disney World, but today, it’s all about the umbrellas! While you can purchase black Disney umbrellas all over the parks and resorts, why settle for standard? For a cuter, useful souvenir, head over to Good Fortune Gifts in EPCOT’s China pavilion! Here, you can find an assortment of umbrellas, parasols, fans and more that have some real style!

😮 🎉🏰 BIG CHANGES happened at Disneyland Resort on this day in 2001 with the opening of Disney California Adventure Park. Walt Disney World veterans, here’s a few features DCA has that WDW doesn’t:

🏰 Theme Park Access from Resorts: Grand Californian and Pixar Place Hotel BOTH have dedicated entrances to DCA. This is so convenient for rope dropping or afternoon breaks.

🏎️ Cars Land: You truly feel like you’re walking right into Radiator Springs, it’s incredible. Pro-tip: visit during the day AND after dark.

🦸‍♂️ Avengers Campus: Marvel fans will spend A LOT of time here. Characters roaming all day and night, shows and rides like Web Slingers and Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout. Again, visit during the day and after dark!

😌 Park Hopping Ease: No transportation needed! Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are within steps of each other...steps! Park hopping is so easy!

🍍🍦🏰 Ever tried the famous Dole Whip at Disney Parks? This iconic pineapple treat is a must-have and can be found all over the Walt Disney World Resort. But, if you plan to spend your arrival day at Disney Springs and just can’t wait to indulge, stop by Swirls on the Water to get your fix. They offer a couple of specialty items and samplers so you can taste a few flavors! Or if you’re checking into the Polynesian Village or Coronado Springs Resorts they have it there too!

💗🏰🌛🫶💗Love is in the air tonight at Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts Nite! This SOLD OUT special ticketed event at Disneyland park celebrates love on select nights through (and including) February 14th...Valentine’s Day! There will be unique entertainment, rare characters, specialty food and beverage items for purchase, themed PhotoPass photo opportunities inspired by romantic Disney movie scenes, shorter attraction wait times and more. What’s more, guests are encourage to dress as favorite Disney sweethearts!

Although the event runs from 9:00pm to 1:00am, guests with tickets can enter Disneyland park at 6:00pm and enjoy 3 hours of pre-event,

There’s something about Disneyland that is inherently romantic, (maybe the size?) so this event just seems like a perfect fit for couples who share a love of Disney! Thoughts? Drop a ❤️ in the comments if you would LOVE to go!

🤯🍽️🇫🇷 There’s a menu option at La Crêperie de Paris that’s one of the best values in EPCOT and not many people are talking about it. AND it’s on the Disney Dining Plan (DDP)!

At this quaint restaurant tucked inside the France pavilion, consider choosing the Prix Fixe menu. For about $40 (or a table service DDP credit), this complete meal includes soup or salad, a savory galette, a drink (hard cider, soda or juice) and a dessert crepe-if you love Nutella order the Gourmande!

🤑 Ordering the Prix Fixe will save you about $7 off the à la carte menu for the same items. You’ll leave feeling more than satisfied and with a few extra dollars to spend on souvenirs. The food is authentic and delicious! PRO TIP: dine around 11:00am and you’ll cover breakfast and lunch in one reasonably priced meal!

🏔️🚢🐋 On a Disney Cruise Line Alaska sailing, not only will you see amazing sights like glaciers and wildlife, have unforgettable excursions like dog sledding and whale watching, but you also can meet your favorite Disney pals all decked out in their rare and Alaska themed attire.

If you only know the Caribbean, Alaska will blow your mind! 🤯 It’s a cruise experience like no other. Pro-Tip: get the verandah room. Sipping coffee while looking out at seals or having a night cap as you sail through the Inside Passage is a core memory kind of experience! 🏔️☕️

🍦🌅😋 Have you ever had ice cream for breakfast? When you set sail on a Disney Cruise Line adventure you can have ice cream for breakfast every day if you want. I don’t really recommend that - especially since the food onboard is so amazing and plentiful! 🍔🍕🥗🍝

I love ice cream and would definitely have a Peanut Butter Cup Sundae for breakfast!

Let me clarify...it‘s not just ice cream all day every day. You’ll experience top-notch entertainment, themed dining, exciting ports of call and so much more. And because it’s Disney, these cruises are perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers.

🤔📍🏨 Have you ever considered staying off property at a Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel? If not, you REALLY SHOULD! 🤑 The savings can be incredible, many are even closer than the three Disney owned on-property hotels (look at all of those blue dots on the map) and some even come with FREE breakfast! For those hotels located a little further away than you might like (though the price might be right), there is always the shuttle or ride share. 🚌🚗

I have stayed both on property and off property at Disneyland, but I absolutely loved the Castle Inn and Suites! The rooms were large and clean. There was a Mcdonalds and small grocery store on property. Best of all it was only a 5 minute walk to the parks!

Listen, I know there is something to be said for staying in “the bubble” at Walt Disney World, but at Disneyland, it’s just different. Things are smaller, more manageable and staying “on property” doesn’t feel like it’s necessary. When you’re ready to talk Disneyland, message me, it can be more affordable than you think! 🐭🤑☀️
