Fishing Update: The last 48 hours have seen the Crappie and Walleye turn on. Crappie are starting to school up in Moore's Bay and the Walleye are biting in 16 to 18 feet along the edges of deeper holes. Popple Island has been producing some nice fish for the last few days. Word is they are alternating between minnows and crawlers. Reports on the size of the walleye have been promising.

Wisconsin Housing Market Records Record Sales for Summer
It’s been quite a run for the Wisconsin real estate market this summer as the re-opening of the state’s economy in June combined with record-low mortgage interest rates resulted in a new three-month record in home sales, according to the most recent analysis of the state housing market by the WRA.

Focusing on the August 2020 market, sales rose 0.7% relative to August 2019. At the same time, tight inventories drove median prices up 14.1% to $235,000. On a year-to-date basis, existing home sales were just 1% below the first eight months of last year, and median prices rose 8.8% to $219,500.

Fall Walleye fishing secrets on the Famous Chippewa Flowage in Hayward Wisconsin
During the late fall on the flowage, some huge walleyes are caught out of the deeper holes on jig and minnows. Even a small sucker works both during the day time and after dark (even in November!). Don't be afraid to cast the shallows with Rapalas or the same other slower shallow-running crankbaits.
