If you want to go find fish in Port Aransas, Captain Randy with Red Tag Guide Service is your best bet to get in on all the fun! Capt. Randy will pick you up for your trip at 900 Tarpon St. in Port A. You can check out all the bays in style from an experienced captain who lives on the island and fishes year-round. This is the best family-friendly charter you will find, and Captain Randy will make sure your family is safe and has a blast fishing.

Capt. Randy has been fishing in and around Port A for the last 25 years and since he lives and fishes here full-time, he is here to get you on some fish and make sure you have fun doing it. You’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, jigging, and throwing lures, all depending on what fish you’re going after. As part of the 4 1/2 to 8-hour trips, you can target species like Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, and Speckled Trout, depending on the current season and weather conditions. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip.

This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids for a fun fishing adventure!

Fun Fact: In 2021, Captain Randy caught the first Red Tagged Redfish in the CCA/STAR tournament and won a truck and boat, so make sure to join CCA and enter the STAR tournament that runs Memorial Day-Labor Day, and you might just get lucky to win your very own truck and boat!
