proof how unpredictable the aurora is; we had a kp index of 5 this evening which (on average) means bright lights with colours in the pink and purple range added in. this is all we got after waiting two hours. still worth it!

today i did a jeep tour, zip line, and hike excursion with treetop adventure park (highly recommend them by the way!). we ended with the hike to sault (errard) falls and it was gorgeous!

switching gears from disney content because i’m now in saint lucia!! we were greeted coming off the plane by a handler with Island Taxi Tours who got us through customs within minutes! we are now getting ready to take a private car to Windjammer Landing, where we’ll be staying for the next week!

next on the food and wine fest list: italy! we each got some bomboloni, a cream-filled doughnut with some raspberry sauce on top! they were the perfect sweet snack 😋

up next: china! at the top, we have the kung fu master which is made with vodka, triple sec, mango syrup and some orange juice. we also got a jasmine draft beer which was super interesting but very refreshing! then for the food we got some pan-fried chicken dumplings with sweet and spicy sauce and a DELICIOUS ziran beef bao bun! definitely one of my favourite stops!

next up for the food and wine fest: morocco! we got some stone-baked moroccan bread, served with hummus, zaalouk, and zhoug. we also got some blood orange juice on the side!

it’s time for the start of the food and wine fest dump! first up: japan! we got the teriyaki chicken bun (easily our favourite item of the day) with some ozeki platinum sake 😋

we had a great time at animal kingdom yesterday! flight of passage was 100% worth the wait!

had the BEST day at hollywood studios yesterday, filled with drinks at oga’s cantina, droid building at the depot, group SIX for rise of the resistance (what!) and a packed-full afternoon of rides. plus, we finished the day at the hollywood brown derby for dinner. will definitely be posting more about galaxy’s edge later!

magic kingdom was lovely, despite not being able to get on splash mountain due to technical difficulties. we did get on space mountain twice though! plus, the autumn decorations are adorable! next stop, hollywood studios (we even nabbed an early boarding group for rise of the resistance!)
