All of the Disney parks are closed until at least the end of March. It’s not an easy time for the cast members and many others involved, but the parks will re-open when the time is right and safe for everyone! Until then, beautiful sights like this will be waiting for us when they open their gates, once again😊

This is genius.

I’ve been slowly watching The Imagineering Story on Disney+, and in the most recent episode they talked about the time that Disney Tokyo had to shut down for a month and a half, following the tragic earthquake and tsunami that occurred there in March of 2011. Those who worked there at the time were interviewed and talked about how so many rushed into the parks upon reopening and how it felt like a haven to them, and how they’ll never forget what it meant to their country at the time.

The image above only helps strengthen my belief that Disney can actually make people better, relationships stronger, as well as remind us of what a happy, joyful, and wonderful place this world can be. There are always going to be sorrowful times in life, tragic events, the loss of people we love. Disney helps us to appreciate what we do have, and the people in our lives. It allows us to forget our troubles from time to time and live in the moment, and be grateful.

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort

Nestled between Epcot and Hollywood Studios, lies the Epcot Resort Area. The Coney Island-inspired Boardwalk has carnival games, a nighttime dance hall, and also happens to be my favorite running spot in all of Disney🏃‍♀️

Wake up in the morning for a walk around the boardwalk, followed by a delicious coffee and pastry at the Boardwalk Bakery, and you’re sure to be off to a fantastic start to your day😊
