Sunset on the North Sea
From the land of fire and ice to the spectacular Norwegian fjords during the midnight sun, through a lock to Amsterdam and onward to a quaint walled Belgium city with cobblestone streets. Day 2: Private Golden Circle tour with my group! The forecasted rain held off most of the day - leaving Reykjavik, we traveled to Thingvellir National Park at the continental divide between the American and Eurasian tectonic plates. We enjoyed a delicious packed lunch at the Geyser before heading to Gullfoss (Golden Falls).
Toni introduced me to geocaching and we found the first ever cache in Iceland along with one near the Sun Voyager.
Circling around by Harpa, home to the Reykjavik Symphonic Orchestra, we headed back into the shopping district for some final photos at the Rainbow Road.
