🚗👑 Ireland’s Game of Thrones Epic Road Trip 👑🚗

If you've dreamed of traveling to Westeros since HBO's Game of Thrones series hit our screens, this will be your most legendary road trip. From the Dothraki Grasslands (Cliffs of Binevenagh) to the Kingsroad (Bregagh Road), George RR Martin's epic landscapes come to life as you travel through Northern Ireland, and there are plenty of activities at your disposal as well.

Located between the glen and the sea, this small town has changed little in the last century.

Delve into the 400-million-old caves at Cushendun, the birthplace of Melissandre's shadow baby, or take a look beyond the Temple of Mussendun to Downhill Beach (Dragonstone for fans). And not only are natural attractions present on the small screen, visitors are also welcomed to Castle Ward and Inch Abbey. Mind you, be sure to avoid the White Walkers if you head into Tollymore Forest Park ...

🚗 Road Trip from Las Vegas, Nevada to Salt Lake City, Utah 🚗

One of the most legendary road trips to know the Southwest of the US is visiting from the super famousLas Vegas to the non-touristic destination of Salt Lake City. In Vegas, a few days are good to get to know the main hotels and assisting some interesting shows. It is easy to get around with a rented car in Las Vegas, the most touristic part is concentrated on the Strip.

From Las Vegas, make your first stop at Lake Mead, or the largest artificial lake in the USA. From there, there are around 4 hours drive to the Grand Canyon’s South Rim, on the Southern edgeof the famous canyon. Explore it calmly and then you can spend the night in Flagstaff, two hours from here. Next destination: Painted Desert, one of the most amazing stops on the road trip, and then the super interesting Antelope Canyon,- try to arrive a little before sunset for the most colourful and instagram photos of all.

The next stop is Zion National Park, one of the most visited parks in the USA, and then you can base in Springdale. If it is winter, be sure to spend a few days at the Sundance Mountain Resort, an ideal hotel for snow sports. Stop by Thanksgiving Point to photograph Ashton Gardens. From there, it is only half an hour to Salt Lake City, a city outside the traditional axis of tourism in the USA, surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Best time: May to September, so as not to run the risk of seeing canyons covered with clouds and not catching freezing temperatures on the road to Utah.

🚗 🇳🇿 Auckland to Kaitaia Road Trip 🇳🇿 🚗

You could fly to Kaitaia, but driving there allows you to explore all the beaches, the great places to eat fish 'n' chips, and great waves for surfing along the Twin Coast Highway. This is a great roadtrip to do in New Zealand. We rented our van with 🚗[QEEQ Car Rental]🚗 and inmediately started our road trip.

Auckland is a great city to take as a base and starting point. It has many bars, pubs and restaurants. Then you can tour the picturesque Hauraki Gulf to the north, passing through Whangarei and the Bay of Islands (Bay of Islands) with pleasant warm temperatures at this time of year.

Cape Reinga on the northern tip of the island and Ninety Mile Beach on the West Coast are also worth visiting.

🚗🌊 Sydney to Melbourne: Travelling Australia's East Coast 🌊🚗

If you like diving or snorkeling this is your route. You can't miss the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands! In addition, the great monuments that you will see throughout the towns through which you will pass will not leave you indifferent. It is not recommended to do this route in summer, due to the Box Jellyfiishes (jellyfish), you will not be able to bathe in the sea, although at the dive sites they are prepared with special suits so that you can enjoy its crystalline waters and find Nemo ;-).

DISTANCE: 1,700km / STOPS: BRISBANE - Sunshine Coast - Rockhampton -Whitsundays - Townsville - CAIRNS

THINGS YOU CAN DO:

Contemplate the exotic Fraser Island.

Discover an archipelago of paradise islands (the Whitsundays) lost in the great barrier reef.
Visit the Billabong Sanctuary before arriving in Queenstown. One of the most spectacular parks where you can see exhibits of all wild Australian animals (crocodiles, koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, dingoes ...)

Hallucinate with the Big Banana, the Big Red Elephant, the Big Mosquito, a huge rubber boot, a titanic pelican, the Big Golf Ball at Broadbeach , the Big Hard Rock Café Guitar (big guitar from the Hard Rock Café) in Surfers Paradise, the Big Pie (big cake) in Yatala or the Big Paperclip (giant clip) in the West End of Brisbane.
Dive in the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 2: Adventure

The natural landscapes of the peninsula are as versatile as the activities that can be enjoyed there. If you want a day of adventure, contact the Maya Amazing agency to take a tour to La Carbonera. After a boat ride, you will kayak towards a mangrove that shelters a cenote. The trip ends on a desert island where you will enjoy a meal based on the day's fishing.

If you prefer a day of relaxation, the same tourist agency offers a trip to Las Coloradas. Here, after taking a moment to take pictures of the rosy landscape, you can enjoy a massage with the water itself.

🚗 🇲🇽 Mexico Yucatan´s Road Trip 🇲🇽 🚗

With popular legends charged with mysticism, haciendas full of history, versatile natural landscapes and a diverse gastronomy, Yucatan is one of the richest states in the country.

You have to go to Yucatan to eat, to explore and to connect with nature. And four days are enough to enjoy this region.

Day 1: Merida

Merida is one of the main attractions of Yucatan thanks to its innovative proposals for lodging, design and flavors. Check-in at Casa Lecanda and spend the first day exploring the city: visit Casa T’ho, a design boutique dedicated to bringing together the best proposals in the region. If you want a glimpse of the most popular gastronomy, eat at La Rosita, a little restaurant that serves the best panuchos in the city.

☁️🚗 Ring of Kerry's Road Trip 🚐🏔

Beginning and ending in Killarney, the Ring of Kerry is set in the beautiful surroundings of Killarney National Park, and when it comes to breathtaking scenery, this is one of the island's most praised places, adored by the National Geographic and Vogue magazines alike. Ladies View (named in honour to Queen Victoria and her maidens), with its expansive views of the Lakes of Killarney, is in stark contrast to the rugged Atlantic coastline and Skellig Michael Island. But both routes will take your breath away.

It is also the heart of the Irish villages par excellence. Sneem, Waterville and Derrynane are just a few of the towns that dot Kerry with their vivid colours and postcard-worthy views. It is almost impossible to choose a single prominent place on the Ring of Kerry, but the town of Bog stands out for its image, an authentic town full of thatched houses. 🚐🔥Campervan Roadtrip through the Florida Keys🔥🚐

This past December, since we were visiting Miami, we could not miss the chance to visit the Florida Keys and we decided to spend 3days and 2 nights doing a campervan road trip through the famous islands.

Florida Keys are hundreds of islands, about 1,700 to be exact, located south of Florida. The US1 Overseas Highway is the highway that connects the largest and most important islands, and one of the protagonists of this post. This road is important for its history, it was built in the 30s to be able to communicate the Keys from Cayo Largo to Key West, and for its beauty, since it gives the impression that you are driving above the sea in the sections that join the different islands. They say that if you are lucky enough to have good weather you can get to see all the possible blues of the sea!

So without thinking twice we looked for cars or campervans rentals and we found a nice one. Their campervans are fully equipped, they have a built-in kitchen and all the necessary utensils for cooking, a small living room etc... You can also borrow their GPS, which is quite comfortable if you do not know the area as it was the case.

The main objective of this roadtrip was to get to Key West, which from Miami is about 3'5 - 4 hours, which does not mean we did not enjoy the trip and the road itself, that's what roadtrips are all about!

We left on day 1 at mid-morning, stopping to refuel before leaving Miami. As I have said, it is very nice to admire the road, even if the time is running out, it is good to stop at IslaMorada or Marathon, they are beautiful places, and, for me, one of the best things about the Florida Keys are their sunsets. So, I recommend that you stop anywhere to admire them.

It is one of the most famous and spectacular road routes in Australia and on Earth. Views of the Twelve Apostles are its most popular attraction, but the Great Ocean Road is much more than that:

Spectacular panoramas, surfing beaches, coastal towns, prehistoric forests, koalas and kangaroos are some of the most outstanding attractions that you can enjoy along the Great Ocean Road.
It is possible to do the Great Ocean Road with one of the organized tours that depart daily from Melbourne and reach the Twelve Apostles viewpoint, but we recommend you to do it on your own, as we did renting a car and driving all the way ourselves.

We traveled the Great Ocean Road at our own pace, rented a car at Melbourne airport with 🚙[QEEQ Car Rental]🚙 and made our own particular itinerary, stopping wherever we wanted.
