More than 20 seasoned pilots and flight enthusiasts with extensive experience flying to and around The Islands of The Bahamas participated in the recent Halloween Fly-in, named in honor of The Bahamas’ first Flying Ambassador, Terry Spurlock, who passed away last year.

Participants got a unique glimpse into Abaconian life. They got a chance to taste local cuisine and tour popular attractions such as Albert Lowe Museum, Hope Town Light House & Memorial Sculpture Garden, and were the invited guests at a special Halloween Party.

Through the Abaco Fly-in, BMOTIA showcased the growing private aviation sector and boosted the economy of The Abacos while aiming to treat visitors to an exceptional experience in The Islands of The Bahamas.

Lauderdale on September 7th, 2022. Guests were transported to The Bahamas via picturesque digital displays of the beautiful Bahama islands, promotional videos highlighting the offerings of the 16 island destinations, a three-course sit down dinner featuring a Bahamian inspired menu, and an electrifying Junkanoo performance. A live Q+A panel highlighted The Bahamas’ steadily growing tourism numbers for key industry leaders, sales and trade representatives, stakeholders and media in attendance.
