Para aquellos que aún no me conocen mi nombre es JoLynn y soy agente de viajes de Disney!
Desde chiquita he sido fanática de Disney y algunos de mis mejores recuerdos de mi infancia son de viajes a Disneyland y Disney World. Cuando escuché que podría ser agente de Disney sabía que tenía que ser uno de ellos. Me encanta ayudar a los demás Descubrir la Magia que tiene Disney. Soy mamá de una niña hermosa y esposa de un cabracho maravilloso y hago eso porque soy apasionada de Disney.

If your questioning whether or not to add genie+ to your tickets here are my thoughts and reasons why I loved it:
1. It cut down waiting time
1. We went at a relatively busy time where for a good part of the days most waits were 30min or more this cut down the time we waited especially for the more popular rides.
2. PhotoPass downloads
1. I love saving the pictures taken on the rides and taken by cast members around the park so having unlimited downloads included was a huge plus.
3. One person can manage the whole party’s plans from their phone
1. It was nice not to have to coordinate with everyone’s ticket what we would do. I managed everything from my phone and all other members of my party were covered no stress!
4. It wasn’t as complicated to use as others led me to believe
1. I don’t want you to get a false sense of hope or that it as simple as the old fast pass system however, I was expecting to be on my phone all day trying to figure it out which wasn’t the case. To reduce time spent on my phone I would set a 2hr timer after booking a LL to book the next as well as booking a LL after redeeming one

Now if you know you will be going at a time of year that isn’t busy genie+ might not be totally necessary.

Also if you are on a tight budget this might not be the best option as it does cost $20 per person per day, but if you can budget for that cost, it’s worth it!

Lastly we did not purchase any ILL (which are available to everyone regardless of if you have genie+ or not) and with strategic planning we were able to ride those rides that offer ILL without waiting more than 45 minutes. If we hadn’t purchased genie+ we might have bought ILL but by saving time with genie+ we were willing to wait standby for those rides.

*Disclaimer: my experience is based solely on Disneyland (California) I plan to use genie+ in my next Disney World trip, but haven’t had the chance to use it there yet, and when I do I will post a review of my experience there.

I just got back from a great little Disneyland trip and I was so happy that things are feeling like pre-COVID times.

Character meet and greets are back (hugs, high fives, pictures, etc.) we got to watch The World of Color and The Main Street Electric Parade and no masks required.

It was such a magical time! Now let’s book you a trip there!
