Check your passports people!

The basic rule of thumb for international travel is that your passport expiration has to be a minimum of 6 months beyond the day you return from your destination. There are some exceptions but honestly it’s not worth risking it!

It’s one of the first questions we ask our clients when we begin trip planning and it will save you a lot of time and aggravation.

Next summer I have an awesome family going on their 3rd family Backroads trip.This one, goes from Basel to Amsterdam on the Amawaterway Sienna cruise. The cool thing is that it stops in Bonn,Germany a city I lived for 3 years. And I recall how my school backed up to the Rhine river. Which then made me google earth to see what my school and apartments/houses look like a (few ) years later. I lived there before the Wall was down and Bonn was the capital. I had the privilege to travel the world and I love sharing the world with my clients. Backroads is an amazing way to see places, have experiences and whether bike, hike , kayak or whatever . It’s the best.!
