🍻 Cheers to the weekend!! 🍻

I don’t know about anyone else but this week has dragged on! I am very much ready for the weekend. We don’t really have any plans and sometimes those are the best kind of weekends!

I do wish I could be at Universal Studios, sitting at the bar at Finnegan’s, drinking a Guinness, and eating fish and chips! I did just that on my first day there last month and it was the perfect lunch for the start of my trip! I don’t have any pictures of my food because I was super hungry but I promise it was delicious. I also sat next to some Universal Annual Pass Holders who were the sweetest ladies! We had the best conversation!

❄️ Blizzard Beach is BACK—and better than ever!

Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has reopened, and it’s had some magical upgrades! If you’ve been thinking about using that free water park day perk on your check-in day instead of hitting the resort pool, what’s new might tip the scales in the water park’s favor, especially if you’re traveling with little “Frozen” fans!

The Tykes Peak kid-friendly splash area now features “Frozen”-themed touches with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. Just think of the photos! Plus, they’ve added some new sweet and savory menu items that may give the sand pail ice cream sundae a run for its money.

Add to that being able to walk over to Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course to use the Magical Extra free round of mini golf voucher, and that’s a whole lotta fun on Disney’s dime!

While it’s hard not to just drop your bags and hit the theme parks upon arrival, such a free and VALUABLE perk doesn’t come around very often. 🍿 Happy National Popcorn Day! 🍿

There is nothing I love more than movie theater popcorn. I don’t care how bad the butter and salt are for me, I load it up with both! I always get a large popcorn, a Cherry Coke, and some kind of sweet treat when I go to the movies. This snack is so nostalgic for me.

I have been seeing Disney films in theater for as long as I can remember. The first Disney film I saw in theaters was The Lion King (yes, I’m showing my age)! My sister and her best friend took me. I guess you could say that was where my Disney addiction began!

🎨 Shhh...I’m half tempted to not even post this as I’d like to keep the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts as quiet as possible. This vastly underrated festival is, hands down, one of my absolute favorites. The splashes of color in the middle of dreary ol’ winter, live Broadway entertainment, and even the small plates at the Food Studios are edible art!

It’s the perfect time of year as crowds have thinned, the weather is better than it is at home but not Florida at its boiling point, and many of us are ready to exhale from a busy holiday season. You don’t have to be an artist, and you don’t have to be a foodie—this festival is for EVERYONE.

🚀 Fifty years ago, Space Mountain launched guests into the cosmos for the very first time, and it’s still one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World.

Despite all the shiny new additions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, this classic continues to draw crowds and long wait times. It’s had a couple of refreshes over the years, but nothing monumental.

So here’s the big question:
Does Space Mountain need a change?

✨ Should it get a major refurb to bring it up to today’s standards?
✨ Is it time to retire this beloved classic and make way for something brand new?
✨ Or do we leave it exactly as it is—a nostalgic staple of Tomorrowland?

Jinkies!! It’s been a while since I introduced myself, so I thought now would be the perfect time to say hi and share a little about me! I’m Kendra, and I’m a travel agent who works with families, couples, and adventure seekers to plan vacations they’ll remember forever. Whether it’s your first trip or 20th, I’m here to make the process seamless, stress-free, and fun!

Here are a few quick facts about me:

✨ I live in Andreas, Pennsylvania with my husband Ian, two year old son James, chocolate lab Wilbur, and three kitties Jackson, Tigger, and Merrigold. While I’m not planning vacations, I work part time at our family machine shop in the office and at a local winery who are my second family!

✨ I enjoy reading with my book club, starting my day with a large cup of coffee, and spending time outside when the weather is much warmer! I love going on adventures with my little guy and I can’t wait to take him more places this year.

✨ My happy place is walking around the World Showcase with a drink in hand taking in all the EPCOT vibes. I also try to never miss the International Food and Wine Festival or Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! My two favorite events of the year!

🐚 Last month during the U-Preferred Travel Advisor Symposium, I stayed at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort for a three night stay! This resort was incredible and I will be highly recommending it to all of my clients. Here are my top five reasons why I loved this resort:

⚓️ Transportation! This resort utilizes the Water Taxis to the theme parks. It was a quick ride over to CityWalk which was very convenient. You could also walk to the theme parks which I took advantage of multiple times.

🏝️ Theming! The theme of this resort is reminiscent of the Caribbean. It was so relaxing and definitely put me in the vacation mood!

💦 The pool! This is the largest pool on Universal Resort property! It has sand beaches, water slides, a children’s play area, and waterfalls! It is perfect for family time!

⏰ Early park admission! I utilized this on my last day and rope dropped! I was able to ride Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure TWICE via the single rider line. With a quick walk to the parks, you will be in the action in no time!

🍽️ Dining! The casual dining here was unmatched! I made sure to visit the coffee shop for my daily fix! I also visited Strong Water Tavern during my stay and I will be doing a post on that experience itself.

Just like we learned in Ratatouille, “Anyone can cook,” the same is true for runDisney events: Anyone can run! And by “run,” I also mean walk, jog, stroll, or do whatever pace feels right for YOU in the shorter events.

Here’s why you should definitely sign up for a 5K at least once:

🎉 The vibes are dreamy! Imagine Disney music, character meet and greets, and cheering crowds encouraging you every step of the way. It’s not about speed—it’s about having a great time!
