Whether you’re island hopping through Greece this spring or exploring the Côte d‘Azur, here are my top tips for making the most of Google Maps when you travel 🔎

➡️ Save Offline Maps: Before you go, download maps for your destination by tapping the location, choosing "Download," and voilà! You can now navigate without the internet.

➡️ 📍Explore with Street View: Here‘s a cool trick! Drop the adorable red peg on the map and virtually stroll through the streets. It‘s like being there already. Do this around your hotel to get familiar with nearby places.

➡️ Discover Nearby Places: This is one of my favorites! Use the "Travel Advisor" feature to find attractions, restaurants, bars, parks, you name it, all in your vicinity. It‘s like having a local guide right in your pocket!

Hmmm...Should you go back to a warm place you know this winter, visit New Zealand, or try somewhere new?

You’re spoiled for choice if you know where to look; there are so many gorgeous resorts and hotels, and every location has its own things to explore.

Here are a few questions I ask my clients to help them narrow it down:

➡️ What kind of vacation are you looking for? Adventure, relaxation, culture, or a mix of all?

➡️ What activities do you want to prioritize for the trip? Are you just relaxing at the resort or want to venture out? And what’s top priority, water activities, culture, food, etc?

➡️ What’s your budget? Are you sticking to your usual spending amount, or are you splurging?

➡️ Who’s coming? Will you be traveling with kids, family, or friends, or will it just be you and your partner?

➡️ What’s one thing that would make this trip exceptional for you?

In short, the best island depends on your personal preferences and travel style because no island is exactly the same.

It may be early for you, but for me, little itinerary fairies have been dancing in my head since before the sun was up. I'm powering up the computer and getting ready to create some magic. What does that mean? It's putting the final touches on the proposal for a client taking a trip to celebrate our accomplishments in Las Vegas this year.

A few things on their wishlist 📝

*Zip around Red Rock Canyon in a Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class.

* Have dinner at a James Bread Award-winning restaurant before moving on to a hot nightclub (I might suggest the Hakkasan).

And the end result? We aren’t quite there yet, but I’ve shortlisted a lot and figured out why it’s a good fit for my clients.

Big question. What do South Carolina and Italy have in common?

Both have major cities named Florence. Both cities have an airport. Both cities have a story to tell, an adventure to enjoy.

Just one letter separates you from booking a flight to Florence, SC (FLO), and Florence, Italy (FLR).

You may be surprised to know how easy it is to accidentally book flights to the wrong airport! No one wants to arrive to the airport ready to go to one destination only having to make last minute changes that will be costly!

My advice? Double and triple-check your airport codes.

Need a trusted pair of eyes on all your travel plans. I might know someone. My clients never have to stress about this. We not only make sure you thoroughly enjoy your travels, we first and foremost make sure you arrive where and when your are supposed to!

Nail down your must-see and must-do things. Think of it as your travel safety net—no missed flights, overbooked hotels and tours, or long lineups. Setting the foundation removes all the stress and FOMO of travel.

👉Leave Room for Creativity
I always recommend clients leave gaps in their schedule for the unexpected. We always think we can pack more into an itinerary than we probably should. Use those gaps for exploring and doing things that spontaneously pop up along the way — things like local festivals, hidden-away towns you’re driving through, etc.

👉Stress-Free Exploring
With your essentials covered, you can enjoy unplanned moments without worrying about missing out. You’re going in knowing that you roam freely because your wishlist items are taken care of.

This is what I look for and consider as your travel advisor. My job is to help you find that sweet spot between both.

We’ll get the essentials locked in but leave room for serendipity or some serious magic to surprise you with.

Dubai! Here we come!

Well, not me yet, but my clients! I’ve been so fully immersed in their itinerary for the past few days that I'm experiencing FOMO.

I’m sitting this one out but will be living vicariously through them.

My clients are taking a "one in a lifetime trip". They really wanted to escape to a land that is beautiful, unique, and oh so lux.

There are so many great choices for them to stay at, so it took us a minute to narrow it down. It had to have the perfect relaxed vibe with lots of privacy and great views. Is this something you crave as well?

Well, like I said, I’ll be over here sipping my Lime Ricky, living vicariously through them because this trip will be AWESOME.
