I wanna talk about the All Star Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort!

The All Star Resorts, which include Movies, Music, and Sports, are Walt Disney World Resort's Value Resort Hotels. These resorts are heavily themed to their namesake: Movies to Disney Movies, Sports to all different sports, and Music to different genres of music. They each have multiple pools, different outside activities, movies under the stars on certain nights, and more!

The All Star Movies Resort and All Star Sports Resort have standard rooms and preferred rooms, while All Star Music Resort also have family suites in addition to standard rooms and preferred rooms.

These 3 Resort hotels are very popular with groups, such as church groups, cheerleaders, dance teams, just to name a few. We can check the calendar of events for Walt Disney World Resort to make sure your trip doesn't fall on these events if a crowded resort stay isn't for you.

My family personally LOVES the All Star Resort hotels! I'm finally feeling better from the flu! Please, please take care of yourself this cold and flu season. Flu A is awful. It hit me hard and fast. I hope everyone stays healthy and is ready for some more Universal Orlando Resort resort tour info!

Our next resort that we will be reviewing is Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. It has an amazing laid back Caribbean atmosphere and is beautifully themed. It features Standard Rooms (standard view, lagoon view, or pool view rooms) and Suites (kids' suites, King or Sapphire suites, a Hospitality suite, or the Presidential suite).

We got to tour the lobby, which is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, especially with their amazing holiday tree as their lobby center piece during the holiday season. There is also the Strong Water Tavern entrance in the lobby. Here, you will find a wall, yes a wall, of rums and a rum specialist to help you choose the perfect drink and food to pair together. This resort features the water taxi service to the parks, meaning you go through security at the dock before boarding the boat and you don't have to go through security again once arriving at Universal CityWalk. BIG perk for some people who stay at this resort. There is also a walking path that connects you to the Universal Volcano Bay Water Theme Park.

At the pool, Cabanas are available on a reservation basis. There is also sand at this pool to keep with the Caribbean feel of the resort. If you are traveling with babies or toddlers that are in need of swim diapers, you can ask for those at the service desk area of the pool. The pool 1600 square feet and features a water slide, kids play area, fire pit area, and more. Also, check with the concierge to see what pool side activities are available for that day. Activities may include ping pong tournaments, water balloon tosses, and more.

There is an arcade with a ton of games for everyone in your group/family. There is also a fitness center across from the arcade for those who need to get a workout in on your vacation.

Next, we toured the absolutely amazing kids' suites! This is an amazing suite for families that want to give their families the extra space on their vacation. The kids get their own room/space while the adults have their own room/space. These rooms do fill up quickly, so if you are interested, always ask for these rooms first before booking a simple standard room or rooms.

The last stop on our tour was Amatista Cookhouse, an exhibition restaurant where you can dine indoors or outdoors. Seasonal menus keep things interesting here with Caribbean-inspired dishes for everyone in your party.

This resort does fall into the Signature Resort category now, BUT you will not find the Universal Express Pass included with your stay here. That will be an extra expense to your vacation should you want to stay at this resort.

I am so sorry that I haven't posted anymore of my Universal Orlando Resort hotel tours. My family has been battling flu and other illnesses lately, and I'm the latest one. I'll be back soon! Stay healthy out there!

I got to attend a training session at Universal Orlando Resort back in December and it was absolutely amazing. I learned quite bit more that I didn't know before and I got to tour 3 resorts that I have never been too. So, up first is the Hard Rock Hotel.

The Hard Rock Hotel was absolutely beautiful! You get to live the life of a rockstar while staying here. Beautiful furnishings, rockstar costumes, instruments from your favorite rockstars, amazing food, rockstar pool, and just a laid back atmosphere! It is the closest resort to the parks, a 5 minute walk. It has standard rooms (sleeps up to 5), club level rooms (sleeps up to 4 or 5, depending on room type), and suites (sleeps up to 4 or 5, depending on room type).

We got to tour the lobby, the pool area, The Kitchen restaurant, The Rock Royalty Lounge, and one of the standard rooms.

A few unique things about the hotel for you:

1. In the hallways, if it has a circular shape at the end of the hallway (such as near the gift shop), if you stand in the middle of the "room", you will get to experience a rockstar recording room! Your voice will echo in the small space and it really shocked me when I got to try it.
2. Each of the Signature Hotels have a BEAUTIFUL staircase that is unique to each hotel.
3. This hotel is the only hotel on property that does not sell Universal Orlando Resort items in the gift shop, Rockshop. It is only Hard Rock items. BUT you are only a 5 minute from CityWalk for all of your Universal Orlando Resort item needs.
4. The pool features music underwater, plus 2 hot tubs, a real sand beach, a 260 ft slide, AND a volleyball court!
5. This hotel also features the Future Rockstar suite, which is a king bedroom and an extra room for the kids!
6. This hotel also gets you the Universal Express Unlimited (for Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure parks, which require theme park admission), included in your hotel stay. Ask me about the difference if you stay at one of the other hotels on property and have to buy the Universal Express Pass in addition to your stay. The difference may just be what your family budget is looking for.

Is the Hard Rock Hotel for everyone? Yes and no. That is really only for you to decide. I will be glad to answer any questions you have about the Hard Rock Hotel and if I don't have the answer, I will find it for you! Let's talk Universal Orlando Resort soon!!!
