We spent spring break week aboard Harmony of the Seas-an Oasis class ship in Royal Caribbean’s fleet. It’s one of the largest ships at sea with the capacity to hold almost 9,000 people. They have designed the ship to be split into different “neighborhoods” so the ship never really felt crowded. There are tons of included activities onboard including ziplining, rock climbing, ice skating, flow rider simulated surfing and boogie boarding, a carousel, the Abyss (slide connecting deck 15 to deck 6), kids clubs and teen spaces, parades, multiple pools and slides, hot tubs, mini golf, sports courts (daily pickleball games made my husband happy), and shows. There is an open air aqua theater at the back a the boat where they have high dive aqua shows with synchronized swimmers and water dancers-it was amazing! We went for 3 shows. Our favorite part of the ship was Central Park. It’s an open air section in the middle of the boat from deck 8 up. There are live trees and plants and they even pipe in bird sounds. The breeze is perfect and you really feel like you are strolling through a park. We honestly had no complaints for the whole week. This was our first time cruising on Royal Caribbean and would definitely go again!

Just returned from an amazing stay at Atelier Playa Mujeres. This resort just recently transitioned to a fully adults only resort, and had the best food I have ever had at a resort. If you are local-think Vele quality. Service was top notch, everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful. Rooms and resort were upscale and modern. We visited the spa and it was pure bliss. They really made it an experience and not just a quick service. The drinks were on point with house made syrups, top shelf liquor, and fresh garnishes.

This resort is an awesome choice for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. It definitely moved to the top of my list of favorites, and is on my short list of resorts I would return to.

I had clients who just returned from Hyatt Ziva Cancun and they said the resort was spectacular! It’s the best blend of high end accommodations with a kid centric atmosphere. It’s surrounded by water on three sides making for exceptional views. It has a water park, kids club, candy shop, and themed dining for the kids, with relaxing and upscale adults only areas as well. They even have a dolphin pool on-site! This resort has moved its way to the top of my list for our next family vacation! There are 6 Hyatt Ziva locations in Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic, all of which are fabulous.

I always say there is a big difference between a “vacation” and a “trip”. It’s probably easy to tell that my favorite vacation spot is anywhere warm with a beach! Our favorite family trips have been to Disney and Universal. I don’t consider them vacations because they are a LOT of work! Lucky for you, I’ve got them both figured out 😉. I’ve booked 4 Universal trips recently and I always include some of my own personal suggestions, like you MUST visit Toothsome’s Chocolate Emporium and order a sundae. Just make sure not to eat a big meal first, because they are huge! Yes, that is 2 slices of cake. On the sundae. Worth. Every. Calorie.

I thought everyone could use some sunshine on this crappy day! This resort will always be one of my faves as it is where we spent our honeymoon. It was my first trip out of the country and set the bar high for all future trips! It has the most beautiful beach I’ve ever been to, with water so calm you can float on a raft all day, and so clear you can see down to the ocean floor even in deep water. It has the most amazing food(I’m still craving the pumpkin jalapeño hummus with sweet potato chips 🤤), and a sunset catamaran cruise that takes you to swim in caves. If you are looking for a relaxed, romantic vibe, then this is the resort for you!

Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica will not disappoint! Prices for this fall are around $3,000 per couple for 5 nights.

Let’s be honest. We are all tired of babysitting our parents Grandchildren. I see a lot of adults only trips in the future. Heck, probably a lot of girls only trips if I’m being honest 🤪. The El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya has been on my list since we were looking for our honeymoon! We haven’t booked before because it is usually much more expensive than other options we are looking at, but for dates this fall/winter 2 adults can stay 5 nights for around $2,000. That includes round trip flights form St. Louis and transportation to and from the resort 😳. I vacation shop a lot and have never seen this resort that low!

I was searching for a summer vacation for my sister and her family, and came across this beautiful Cancun hotel set to open this month! Planet Hollywood Cancun is brand new with lavish features, amazing pools and water parks, and tons to keep the kids entertained. Prices are crazy affordable right now, even if you travel far into the future. A family of four can stay 5 nights with airfare and hotel transfers included for around $2,800 in a basic room 😳. It’s usually hard to find a nice resort for just 2 adults at that price. Prices for this hotel will only rise as it moves past its grand opening and we all move past Covid. Let me know if there are some dates you would like a quote for! I plan to visit here ASAP!!

Three years ago we traveled to one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been. This resort in Puerto Vallarta was amazing, and the views were breathtaking! Surrounded by mountains and the calmest ocean water made for the most relaxing week. And I’m still dreaming about the massage I got at the spa. This is definitely a resort I would visit multiple times!

Remember when we could sit close, share nachos, and taste each other’s daiquiri?! This vacation started my love for Mexico. So many great resort options and it’s so close, you’re there by lunch.

And look at that water 😍

I’m hopeful to be back in that water next year! You should be too, you’ve earned it 😉
