Have you ever done the Animation Experience at Disney World or Disneyland? This was a first for us, but won’t be our last. But it’s a great way to take a break in the air conditioning and learn to draw a character. So, obviously we aren’t the most artistic family, but can you tell who we learned to draw?

There are so many perks to staying on property at Disneyland. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and LOVED it. Early entry, being able to walk to the park, a monorail themed water slide…😍😍😍. Not to mention a Trader Sam’s and a character meal (Goofy’s Kitchen) at your hotel. And you should have heard our collective gasps when I hit the wrong switch to turn off the lights and turned on the firework nightlights.

The Country Bear Jamboree is officially closed and I am sad. I know they will reopen with new songs but I’m having a hard time believing it will be better than “Blood on the Saddle.” Glad we got to see it one last time and I got to somewhat get a picture with Wendell and my kids hopped in to what was supposed to just be me and Big Al.
