🏅 The first day of our vacation Noah asked me what my goals were for the trip. Of course I said “spending one on one time with you!” He rolled his eyes and asked me for a real goal.

✔️My two goals for the trip were to eat a cinnamon roll from Gaston’s Tavern and to eat a Jacks Num Num cookie

Needless to say we had a lot of snacks while we were there….we might have even had most of these all in one day 🤭🤭 Remember, Disney calories don’t count since you are walking so much during the day!

🍌 🌵Because who doesn’t need a banana tree and dragon fruit cactus in their house?!

✈️ We are on the way home but minutes before we left Noah finally picked out his souvenir.

🌱 While we were at Epcot earlier this weekend I made Noah ride “Living with the Land”. He grumbled the whole ride and as we got off we stopped by a stand that sold plants that were actually cultivated in the Living with the Land greenhouses, how fun is that?!?!

🪴 This is such a unique piece of Disney World to take home…and it’s cheap! They have everything from banana plants to flowers to herbs.

💥 Pop Century is such a fun resort! I could spend all day just exploring the resort and looking at all the decorations.

At this value resort we are staying in a standard room. This room has a view of the resort, 1 queen bed and 1 pull down queen bed. This is the perfect resort for families on a budget but still want to have all the benefits of the skyliner (it’s my favorite!)

⏰ One of the perks of staying at a Disney World resort is early entry into the parks! We are spending the day at Hollywood Studios - early entry was at 8:30am….the park opened at 9:00am to all guests…we walked in the park at 8:15am and rides were already going.

By 9:40am we rode Rock n Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon. It was also so nice to see Star Wars land before it got packed throughout the day. Disney is so good at theming that even the bathrooms feel like you’re in another land!

🌱 We hopped on the skyliner this morning and spent our first morning at Epcot. We started the day with a breakfast reservation at the Garden Grill. This is a character dining with Chip, Dale, Mickey and Pluto. It’s also super fun because the restaurant actually rotates about the Living with the Land ride while you were eating.

🥣 This meal is served family style with ingredients that are grown right from Living with the Land ride!

Check out this All Access Ship Tour that my fellow travel agent went on while they were on the Icon! If you are curious about the operations of a ship, I highly recommend this tour. She said it was especially fascinating since this is the largest cruise ship in the world. With guests and crew, they were told there is over 10,000 people on board, but you would never know it.

Highlights include: Meeting the captain on the bridge and visiting with him, touring the laundry facilities, walking I95 (a huge corridor going the length of the ship), viewing the galley and seeing where they store food and beverage and also visiting the “brains” of the ship.

Did you know they routinely go through 15,000 lbs of watermelon a week and 35,000 ICE CREAM CONES a week. 35 THOUSAND!!!!!

🎄Hands down one of the highlights of our vacation was Universal’s Holiday Tour. Each tour group only has 10-12 people with a guide to provide a personalized experience, it was only my family and another family of 5 with us and it was perfect!

💗💗Our tour guide was so amazing that she told us where she was working in the park later in the week…so we stopped by her post yesterday and brought her Minion flavored banana popcorn (she mentioned it was her favorite!).

🎫 We started the tour with VIP seating for the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular Show
🎅🏽 Went to meet the nicest Santa ever…it was so magical on Christmas Eve! You can only meet Santa at Universal on a tour.
🥘 Went to a private restaurant for unlimited light snacks and bottled water/pop
🔫Got to skip the line and walk on the minion ride
🐶 Had a private meet and greet with the Grinch and Max….you can only meet Max on a tour!
🍪 Snacked on unlimited fruit, desserts, cookies, hot chocolate, pop/water
🚶‍♀️Walked behind the scenes at both parked and learned SO much about what all goes on that the public doesn’t get to see…this was Noah’s favorite part!
🏰 Watched a private, after hours Nighttime Lights Show on the Hogwarts castle

🎄 Merry Christmas from my family to yours!!

🌅 We started day 1 bright and early using the early park entry at Islands of Adventure and ended our day closing down Universal Studios!

🚎 I love that our resort is a quick 5 minute bus ride away…and there is never a shortages of buses. We went back to the resort for a couple hours in the middle of the day to let the little kids rest and the big kids swim!

💦 Our highlights of today were the perks of early entry (no wait for the VelociCoaster), the gorgeous Christmas lights everywhere, and the Universal Studios water show to close down our night.

🎄Stay tuned for our Holiday Tour this evening…this tour is the only place in Universal where you can meet Max (The Grinch’s dog) and Santa!

🚗 It was a long drive but…we made it! Last night we checked into Universals Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites. If you have a large family, want the price of a value resort, and want all the space to spread out - this resort is perfect!

Our 2 bedroom suite has 3 queen beds (1 in its own room), a small kitchen area with the cutest picnic table to fit everyone at, and so much space!

🏄 The resort and rooms have a beach and surfing vibe….even at Christmas time it makes you feel like you are still in the middle of a sandy, sunny retreat.

🌎We are off to the parks bright and early today since one of the perks of staying on site is 1 hour early entry into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios.

🚗 We’re off on another family adventure! The kids think we are doing our usual road trip to Grandmas house for Christmas but little do they know that we are headed to Florida!!

🎄Cruising so close to the holidays was such a memorable week!

🎅🏽Royal Caribbean goes all out to make sure the ships are decorated for all the holidays, from Christmas trees to dreidels in the hallways and subtle touches around every corner! My favorites were the Santa cookies with milk at the buffet and caroling in the promenade. It was the perfect way to bring relax before the holidays and still get in the spirit 💗

Our first day is a day at sea and we are enjoying the Boardwalk!

🍨 I had the most unique dining experience on our last Celebrity cruise! Le Petit Chef is an animated dining experience where the tiniest chef in the world prepares all your courses virtually right at your table for you! We met Captain Kate and her hairless cat, Bug Naked, today! She’s so down to earth and completely amazing! Captain Kate went on her first cruise at the age of 12 and told her dad that she wanted to a cruise director. Her dad told her her, you can do whatever you want, even drive the thing! Out of 480 captains on mega cruise ships - Captain Kate is one of the 5 women in her position - but the first American woman in her position. She’s so inspiring, passionate, and has a fierce love for her career and the Celebrity Beyond 💗 #celebrity #beyond #female #captainkate #bugnaked
