The evil ambition of all these Villains means that the possibilities are endless for the stories that can be told — and visitors to the dark and thorny land should be prepared for whatever chaos might come their way.

The new land will encompass all your dreams- er, nightmares. The space will be home to two major attractions, dining, and shopping on an incredibly twisted grand scale. “Be prepared, you poor unfortunate souls,” Josh teased. “It’s going to be a fearless new vision for what a Disney experience can be.”

You might have just felt a shiver run down your spine. That’s because preparation is already underway at Magic Kingdom for this new land. Maybe think twice before you indulge in that next shiny red apple…

Breaking 🚨: Avengers Campus Expansion

The size of Avengers Campus at Disneyland will double with not one but twobrand new attractions to suit up and fight alongside some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Construction on this expansion will begin next year.

Get ready for a multi-world adventure experience with Avengers Infinity Defense. Technology that allows the Avengers to jump between worlds has gone missing, and King Thanos is using it to wreak havoc everywhere. Recruits will travel to iconic locations like Asgard, Wakanda, and New York City alongside the likes of big, and small, heroes. You also just might find yourself face-to-face with King Thanos, too.

If you’re up for another mission, Tony Stark has one for you. And you know Tony, he always wants to try something new and exciting, and it’s going to make you feel like a Super Hero yourself. With the just announced Stark Flight Lab, you’re going to sit in two-person pods and deploy to a test station. Then a robot arm grabs your pod and starts whirling you around in a simulated flight.

Breaking 🚨: Disney Cruise Line Announces Four New Cruise Ships

Four is the magic number! These new ships will arrive between 2027 and 2031.

Five ships are currently in the fleet, with four others already in the works. These new, four additional ships will bring the fleet to a total of 13, giving you 13 different opportunities to experience everything that Disney Cruise Line is known for. The ship names, designs, and exciting itineraries are still in development, but go ahead and start dreaming about your next sailing!

Breaking 🚨: Ka-Chow! New Cars Attractions Race Into Magic Kingdom

“Cars” will be coming to a reimagined section of Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. “The American West has always been about keeping your eyes on the horizon … believing in yourself, carving your own path, and striving toward success. That goes for miners in the mountains, bears from the country, a princess from the bayou … or a racecar from the big city,”

Don’t get too comfortable in Radiator Springs because it’s time to leave the pit stop and head west into exciting new frontiers. On this adventure, guests will be able to experience not one but two exciting new “Cars”-themed attractions.

One attraction will invite you on a thrilling rally race through the mountains. Take on wild terrain as you race across the landscape climbing mountain trails, dodging geysers and — Mater’s favorite — splashing through mudholes.
But what about smaller racers? The second attraction will be geared towards them and will be fun for the whole family.

Get ready to start your engines! Work on this new space in Frontierland will begin in early 2025.

Taking inspiration from the geometric sphere, the zen space for families to gather and enjoy refreshments will be draped with rich textures and warm metallic tones, giving it a mysterious and elegant intimacy.

Updates to Tavern Themed to Pirates of the Caribbean

welcoming haven for all pirate-kind, big and small, and everyone in between. Here, bandits and buccaneers-to-be from every corner of the seven seas are welcome to join together and raise a toast to the pirate life! In the newly released artwork, X marks the spot for a sea-worthy selection of grogs and grub inside this tavern location coming to Magic Kingdom Park.

Both spaces will welcome their first guests in 2025.

Breaking 🚨: Indiana Jones and ‘Encanto’ Confirmed for Animal Kingdom

A new adventure awaits at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park with the addition of a new space themed around Tropical Americas. Welcome to Pueblo Esperanza.

The space will be lush and sprawling, featuring a large fountain in the center where the villagers like to gather and tell stories. Additionally, a woodcarver has created a giant working carousel featuring his favorite animals from Disney stories. It’s a new take on a classic attraction that young families are going to love.

That’s not all that will be located here – the new land will include not one but two signature attractions!

Indiana Jones:
A new Indy experience is set to arrive in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and will be different from any other Indiana Jones experience around the world.

In this new venture, the man with the hat has recently discovered a perfectly preserved Maya temple, and that can only mean one thing: it’s time to explore it. He’s heard rumors about a mythical creature deep within the temple — and he’s got to see it for himself. So, he brings us along on the adventure…

Encanto:
The first-ever “Encanto”-themed ride-through attraction is coming to Animal Kingdom, featuring the beloved Madrigal family from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film.

Inside the Casita, Antonio has just received his special gift — the ability to communicate with animals — and his room has transformed into a rainforest. It’s time to go explore alongside him, and you never know what member of the family you might bump into…

Construction on the land is set to begin this fall and will open in 2027 — but don’t worry, you’ll still have plenty of time to experience Dinosaur again (and get that dino).

For the first time ever, when it debuts in 2025, you’ll actually be able to see Walt Disney through the magic of Audio-Animatronics technology in “Walt Disney – A Magical Life.”

“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will debut inside the Main Street Opera House, and after its initial run, the attraction will play in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.” A fitting acknowledgement of Walt’s significant advances with Audio-Animatronics about 60 years ago when he first introduced the groundbreaking technology.

BREAKING🚨: Genie+ Rebranded, Lightning Lane Advance Purchase Coming to Walt Disney World

Over a year after announcing they intended to simplify Genie+ and Lightning Lane, Disney has finally announced changes to the services.

Disney Genie+ will be rebranded at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. The service will also be available to purchase ahead of time at Walt Disney World.

Disney Genie+ will soon be called Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
Individual Lightning will be called Lightning Lane Single Pass.

At Walt Disney World, hotel guests will be able to purchase Lightning Lanes seven days ahead of time. All other guests can purchase this skip-the-line option three days in advance. Guests will also be able to book before paying to make sure they have the times they want, similar to the former (free) FastPass+ system.

Hotel guests will be able to book passes for the duration of their vacation (up to 14 days) as soon as they can purchase Lightning Lane.

With Lightning Lane Multi Pass, guests can make up to three selections in one day at one theme park in advance. They’ll be able to choose from various available times. On the day of their visit, they can make additional selections after they use a Lightning Lane pass.

The Single Pass option will function relatively the same, but guests can make selections in advance. They can make up to two selections per day for high-demand rides.

The My Disney Experience app will also be updated to make it “quicker and easier” to purchase and plan, with fewer steps and a new option to purchase a Multi Pass and Single Pass in one transaction.

Breaking 🚨: Returning Jollywood Nights Dates & Details Announced for Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Walt Disney World announced the dates and details of Disney Jollywood Nights, a Disney’s Hollywood Studios holiday party that debuted last year.

Disney Jollywood Nights will be on select nights from November 9 through December 21, from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. — an extra hour than last year’s party. The after-hours party is separately ticketed and has limited capacity. Attractions are expected to have shorter wait times. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will use a
standby queue.

It will feature a new skating show on Hollywood Boulevard. Entertainment also includes the returning “What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along “Disney Holidays in Hollywood,” and “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!”

There will be over 20 unique character experiences. New and returning characters include
Phineas and Ferb, Duffy The Bear, Santa Stitch, Bo Peep, Lotso, Baloo, and King Louie from “TaleSpin.” PhotoPass digital downloads will once again be included in an event ticket.

Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10.

Here are the 2024 dates, including more Saturdays than last year (which was only 8 days):
• Nov. 9, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30
• Dec. 2, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21

Breaking News 🚨: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024 Dates & Details

Walt Disney World announced the dates and details of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024, returning to Magic Kingdom for another holiday season.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a limited capacity, separately-ticketed after-hours party at Magic Kingdom. It will begin on November 8 and run on select nights through December 20 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. The 2024 dates are:
• Nov. 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
• Dec. 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20

Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

“Fantasmic!,” Disney’s longest-running nighttime spectacular, returns to the Rivers of America in Disneyland Park on May 24, 2024 ✨

“Fantasmic!” will return with refreshed moments in the iconic show that features live performances, special effects and innovative technology to take Guests on a journey through Mickey Mouse’s imagination, filled with fantastic events and images as seen in some of our most beloved Disney classic films such as “Sleeping Beauty,” “Peter Pan” and “Tangled.”

The popular production will introduce a new climactic battle sequence between Sorcerer Mickey and Maleficent, brought to life with updated special effects, plus the return of the thrilling shipboard confrontation between Peter Pan and Captain Hook from “Peter Pan.”

Guests can view “Fantasmic!” in select standby viewing areas along Rivers of America and may begin queuing no earlier than two hours before showtime.

Get ready to let loose and show off your best villain DescenDANCE Party, taking place at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.

Walt Disney World Changes Hotel Cancelation Policy for 2025

Currently, guests can cancel room-only reservations up to five days before arrival without a penalty. Beginning in 2025, the cancelation window will be changed to up to eight days before arrival. If guests cancel less than eight days before arrival, they will forfeit their deposit, which is the cost of one night.

The cancelation policy for vacation packages that include hotel rooms and park tickets has not changed. Guests can cancel the entire package up to 30 days before their arrival date for a full refund. Guests can cancel from two to 29 days but will be charged a $200 fee. Canceling the day before or the day of the arrival will mean forfeiting the entire package cost.

Beginning in 2025, hotel guests will get admission to a water park included with their stay.

Early entry and extended evening hours will also be available.

BREAKING🚨: Free Water Park Tickets for Disney Resort Hotel Guests in 2025

In 2025, guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel will receive admission to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach water parks included in their stay.

The water park ticket will be valid for their check-in day. Since 2020, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach have alternated operations. Blizzard Beach is open during the fall and winter, while Typhoon Lagoon is open during the spring and summer.

3-Day, 3-Park Ticket:
Enjoy fun adventures and thrilling moments with a specially priced 3-Day, 3- Park Ticket that’s valid for admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park only—starting from $89 per day, plus tax (total price starting from $267 plus tax). Magic Kingdom is not included in this ticket.

These ticket do not require a theme park reservation to enter a park.

BREAKING: Normal Character Meet and Greets Returning to U.S. Parks & Resorts, Disney Cruise Line Beginning April 18 Standard character meet and greets are finally returning to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani, and the Disney Cruise Line. This means guests will once again be able to hug characters and pose next to them for photos. Disney leadership has been alluding to this return and teased an announcement yesterday on TikTok. It will display current AND forecasted future wait times, helping you predict when you might experience quicker entry to attractions. • Enjoy More Flexibility and Fun: Disney Genie brings existing planning features together in one place. Join a virtual queue at certain attractions, make dining and experience reservations, mobile order food at many locations, get help from a virtual assistant and more. Full scale Harmonious test shows off impressive fireworks ahead of the show's debut later this year at Disney World. Along with giving guests a sneak preview of the full pyrotechnics design, tonight's test also confirms a 20 minute run time for Harmonious, making it one of the longest firework shows that Disney has produced.
