Canada is easing border measures for fully-vaccinated travelers who are permitted to enter Canada. As of July 5th, if you are travelling into Canada and are fully vaccinated - and you meet other mandatory requirements, including pre- and on-arrival testing - then you won’t need to quarantine at home or stay at an authorized hotel.
You must also be asymptomatic, have a copy of your vaccination documentation, and provide COVID-19-related information electronically through the ArriveCAN app before you arrive in Canada. You must continue to follow all other public health measures that have been put in place, too.
If you are not fully vaccinated when you come back into Canada, these updated measures do not apply to you. You must continue to follow the current testing and federal quarantine requirements. This is necessary to limit the importation and transmission of COVID-19 and its variants.
