When visiting London, take time to get out of the touristy areas to explore local pubs and interact with the locals. There is a big difference between Gastro pub (modern, with dishes that have a twist to the traditional menu items) vs an old English pub. Most pubs close their kitchens around 9pm but alcohol keeps flowing.
If visiting Egypt, make sure to add Abu Simbel Temple to your itinerary. Close to the border of Sudan and 3.5 hours from Aswan but we feel it’s a must do even if it a 7 hour day journey. Of all the temples in this beautiful country this is one of the most majestic.
