What am I doing today?

Today I am planning a hotel stay for the night before a cruise for a multigenerational cruise group. Cruising is more popular than ever but requires some special detail management.

Here are just a few of the questions that I get from my clients:

🛳️ How do we get from the airport to our hotel near the port?

Facebook has me thinking today. This weekend I have been tagged in several posts of people looking for help with travel on various pages. It is so kind when past clients tag me as their choice for a Travel Specialist. It made me think about what sets me apart from the other dozen people also tagged.

Here’s the big thing…I am a FULL TIME travel agent.

I have been in business for 13 years and have an encyclopedia of experience. Best of all? If you email or message me, I’m responding within the hour. I’m not contacting you when I’m finished with my other job for the day or when I’m on my lunch break. Listen, there’s nothing wrong with working in more than one profession…but it does divide your attention.

I do not have a single distraction at this point in my career. My kids have launched, I have made it through those hard Covid years in a profession that took a pretty big punch. I work full time as a travel advisor and have for 13 years. So, if you want to help out a friend and book your trusted vacation dollars with someone who has multiple “side hustles”, that is certainly your prerogative. But remember, there are those of us out here that do this full time, travel a LOT, and have years of experience, reviews, and first hand knowledge.

Disney, Africa, Caribbean, cruises, all inclusives, The Mediterranean, Europe…I’ve done it all.
