Disney is preparing for you to be able to hug your favorite character after April 18th!!
Not all characters and locations will open on that date, but they will slowly be rolling out beginning Easter weekend through the summer.

Here is the exact quote from Disney:

“As early as April 18, we will start reintroducing traditional character greetings at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, as well as aboard Disney Cruise Line and at Aulani Resort in Hawaii. That’s right! Very soon, you will once again be able to hug Mickey Mouse, get an autograph from Mulan, and share a laugh with Goofy. We know many of you have missed these special moments, and your Disney character friends have missed you, too!

During the past two years, we’ve taken a very gradual, intentional approach to health and safety protocols. Recent trends and guidance have provided opportunities for us to bring back some of our most beloved magic, like character greetings and dining experiences. While not all locations will be available immediately, we anticipate reopening in phases throughout the spring and early summer.”

Today as we remember 9/11 twenty years later I can’t help but think about my trip to New York.
If you haven’t been I highly suggest visiting! Such a beautiful place and I would love to help you start planning this trip!

While in New York don’t forget to stop off at the memorial site for 9/11. Even 20 years later you can still feel the emotions there. It’s surreal to see where these great tall buildings once stood. You will see people there telling their stories and being strong. You will see the family that comes to put a rose where their loved ones name is. I could of just sat here and watched people from all walks of life come together to mourn what once shook our nation.

Today we remember all the lives lost and the heroes that didn’t rest till their jobs were done. We remember how as a nation we came together and didn’t care where you stood, just that we were there❤️
