The Monte Cristo from Cafe Orleans. Life doesn’t get much better!

Cafe Orleans is nestled in the heart of New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park.Ask for a table outside and watch the world go by as you immerse yourself in French Quarter flair.

My favorite dish is this Monte Cristo, adapted from the classic French croque-monsieur sandwich. Enjoy turkey, ham and Swiss cheese dusted with powdered sugar and served with seasonal preserves.

🏰 Magical Memories Monday 🏰

Ashley, Reid, and their kids (ages 9, 7, 5, and 2) recently returned from an unforgettable vacation to Walt Disney World. They stayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and visited Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom. Ashley shared so much incredible feedback from their trip! (It was tough to condense to fit this post!) I hope this helps many of you with your future trips.

“We absolutely loved Disney’s Beach Club Resort. We had a lake view balcony and we sat out there almost every night. Stormalong Bay pool was very fun. We brought sand toys and wrote our name on them to make it easy to track them down. The resort had an outdoor movie on the beach so we ordered pizza and watched “Inside Out 2.”

The Ale and Compass Restaurant was really good. We also enjoyed Cape May breakfast and the characters were fun. We ordered groceries from Whole Foods so we had snacks and breakfast for the early morning park days.

Magic Kingdom: Lunch at Cinderella’s Royal Table was amazing. We didn’t want to wait in lines to meet princesses, so this let us meet five at once! We got a popcorn bucket and refilled throughout the week for $2.50, the kids loved that! One of the biggest lessons we learned was that rides often shut down and come back up pretty soon after, so just watch the app!

Epcot: We had lunch in Japan and it was really good. We ate dinner at Space 220. It was a cool experience but we won’t do again. It was expensive and took over two hours, so that was a huge chunk of our time.

Animal Kingdom: So glad we did not skip this one - so beautiful! We bought a LLSP for Avatar. We got to Navi at rope drop and waited 5 min, then went to the safari and waited 25 min. We had the best meal at Satu’li Canteen. The Boneyard playground was my 2 year old’s favorite part. I grabbed a beer and just watched him play! We did the single rider line for Everest. After 6pm it was 5 min to ride! This was a favorite coaster!

We got everything and more from this trip! Thank you for walking me through it all. It’s difficult to visualize and understand some of this when going for the first time so I appreciate your support and patience!”
