We had a great time on the Disney Magic making time to see Tangled on stage, playing Disney sidekick trivia (Carrie rocks at this, got 20/20 and won Chip and Dale medallions), and even got to enjoy brunch at Palo’s. Didn’t want to give up one of dinner rotations so brunch is an amazing alternative. This is an incredible platinum perk!
Just got home from sailing on the Disney Magic where they treat you like family.
Carrie and I got to make our first trip to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point today. Enjoyed the new island with a relaxing Caribbean feel and new lunch offerings. I know if you are a Disney fan you will want to try it.

Hydra was such an amazing surprise. It was such a beautiful island. We had a leisure breakfast and coffee along the water. Did you know the Greeks do not bring you the bill until you ask? They expect you to talk and take your time. It was wonderful.

Greek Islands by ferry or cruise ship. We chose the Celebrity Infinity and we’re so glad we were not one of those tourists having to drag their suitcase behind them through the cobblestone streets to their next hotel. Not to mention when we were traveling between islands we ate gourmet food, enjoyed entertainment, and relaxed because we didn’t have to worry about what was next. Note to all you ambitious people out there. Climbing the Arc de Triomphe, taking the metro to Sacre Coeur and climbing the steps from what felt like the deepest depths of the metro system and then climbing the stairs to Sacre Coeur is not for the faint of heart or those who avoid the gym. lol! It was quite an unexpected day of walking and climbing. Definitely earned dessert this day.
F1 Experience in Monaco was absolutely phenomenal. First class hospitality all the way.
My favorite French dessert was profiteroles. It is like a cream puff pastry but with ice cream inside and hot fudge and whipped cream on top. I tried it 3 times while we were away. The best was this one from Monaco.
Hydra was an unexpected delight. My husband and I got off early and enjoyed breakfast with a view. This was an amazing omelette with fries on top! Don’t knock it until you try it. Quite fantastic. Hydra is a small seaside village, no cars or bikes, just donkeys to carry the deliveries. Notice the size difference between my cappuccino and my husband’s Americano haha!!!
