A Magical Journey Through Scotland with Avontuur Travel: Patrick Moore’s Family Adventure

When Patrick Moore was in middle school, he saved his hard-earned money from refereeing soccer to join a school trip to England. That trip left a lasting impression on him, sparking a love for travel that he wanted to share with his own family. Fast forward to today, Patrick recently embarked on a memorable trip with his wife and kids, exploring the breathtaking beauty of Scotland and Ireland. Reflecting on their journey, Patrick shared his heartfelt review of the trip, crafted by Avontuur Travel International.

“The past week and a half, we took the kids on a trip to Scotland and Ireland, and I hope they felt the same excitement I did about my trip as a kid. We visited places I could only dream of—Dumbledore’s Island from the Harry Potter movies, iconic castles, and the awe-inspiring Scottish highlands. Here are some of the highlights from our trip, plus a nostalgic photo from my middle school trip.”

Estonia, a country that takes you back in time. Adorned with its beautiful cobble stone streets, medieval architecture, and delicious cuisine- Estonia was a delightful surprise for our Avontuur Travel Group this Christmas. A short ferry ride from Helsinki to Tallin, our travelers spent a day exploring the Christmas market and monuments of this magical city. A day of leisure turned in to an additional country adventure full of surprises and Christmas spirit.
