happy national sisters day!

y’all i would be nothing without the support of my sister, my bestie for the restie. she’s my motivational speaker - it’s usually “get it together” pep talks but it works. she’s the instagram hubby. the best travel partner. my second biggest fan - behind my kiddo.

we’re 9 hours away today but we’ll see each other tomorrow and toast to having a built-in bestie!

there’s nothing quite like getting in my car and hearing the playlist filled with songs (mine happens to be 90’s and early 2000s hip hop) that flood my mind with memories on memories.

my best friend and i would cruise around with my mom listening to these songs. this is the same playlist my friends in college and i would listen to on our football weekend road trips (roll tide!). and now this is the first thing i turn on when we’re headed to orlando or the airport to jumpstart our getaway!

i have been planning several honeymoons lately. i love it so much!

so what’s the biggest ⏰time⏰ saver (see what i did there) when it comes to planning a honeymoon?… aside from working with me of course!

start by narrowing down your destination search based on where each of you want to go. get together and separately write down your dream honeymoon destinations.

do you have a strict budget? knock out the ones you know are going to put you over budget. can’t agree between tropical and mountain? why not both!

narrowing down your search to places you think will fit your budget and your wants will help with a lot of headache.

this view, courtesy of sandals royal caribbean in jamaica, is absolutely breathtaking!

my clients are headed here in december for their honeymoon! i can’t wait to see them relaxing on the beach, water skiing, snorkeling and enjoying some amazing nightly entertainment - all (plus some) included in their package.

this is a great stay for any couple that wants to celebrate their love in an extra special way or who just need to get away from every day life and enjoy each other’s company.

i am so excited about getting on a plane tomorrow!

i can’t wait to share with you guys my surprise destination and 24 hours of packed fun! i’ve only been working on this trip for a couple weeks and have all the plans to make this girls/birthday trip AMAZING!

i have 50th anniversary details! magic is in the air ✨

beginning october 1st

✨ magic kingdom: the newest nighttime spectacular “disney enchantment” will debut and the concept looks AMAZING! for the FIRST time ever, projections will extend from cinderella’s castle down main street usa paired with, you guessed it, fireworks and music sure to make even the most frozen heart teary eyed 🥲
don’t worry! cavalcades are still part of our daytime magic with a NEW cavalcade “mickey’s celebration cavalcade” that will feature mickey, minnie, donald, goofy, daisy, chip & dale in their festive EARidescent outfits. just look at how cute they are 😍

✨ epcot: harmonious finally debuts and takes us through a journey of the globe with new interpretations of disney classics reimagined in different languages. harmonious will be one of the largest spectaculars created for a disney park 🌏
remy’s ratatouille adventure will also open! (you know this means more opportunities for cute pics, right?)

✨ animal kingdom: we have the opportunity to enjoy “disney’s kite tails” magical debut. performers will fly wind catchers and kites in all shapes and sizes! and of course we can’t forget it will feature some of our favorite disney animal friends including simba, baloo, zazu and king louie.

you also won’t want to miss 50 golden character sculptures shining in the sunlight of all 4 parks!

the world of disney is changing so fast these days! i’m always on my toes with updates to restrictions / policy updates, restaurants reopening and, of course, rumors of things to come. a couple things on my radar lately:

✨ starting june 15th, disney is not requiring masks anywhere for fully vaccinated guests except on transportation
✨ disney has added more boo bash dates
✨ sebastian’s bistro, ‘ohana, tusker house and boardwalk ice cream shop are reopening!
✨ avengers campus is open at disneyland as well as more restaurants
✨ laniwai, a disney spa, is reopened at disney’s aulani resort

these are just a few things that i’ve come across that have me excited!

my clients just paid their final payment on their 6 night anniversary trip to mexico! they’ll spend their days basking in the sun, enjoying all inclusive perks, club amenities, snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking and so many more fun things!

6 days of fun in the sun with your honey - literally the definition of having your cake and eating it too!

i’m a sucker for finding hidden gems.

i stumbled across this vineyard a few months ago and finally got the chance to go and let me tell you, it was worth the wait.

the view alone was worth the drive but the wine was SO GOOD! mix it all together with goats, and you’ve got yourself a return guest!

i enjoyed the crowd pleaser wine flight and went back for a glass of the summer quartz… i’m a sucker for warm weather and rosé, what can i say?

this vineyard happens to only be about 50 miles from dahlonega so if you’re looking for a mountainy weekend trip, i have suggestions 😍

what do you think of when you hear F A M I L Y vacation?

do you think a schedule packed full of everything your kids can do? whatever keeps them happy and having fun so they cherish those memories forever right?

wrong.

yes, family vacations should include fun for your kiddos but that doesn’t mean there isn’t just as much fun to be had by YOU!

the truth is, there are plenty of resorts with TONS of activities for kids of all ages and adults too! (you can bet i’m talking about disney - i don’t care how “cheugy” being a disney adult is - it is not)

sometimes all it takes is a little more digging to get rid of the preconceived notions about family travel and remember why you want to go on vacation!

can i be completely candid for a moment?

as someone that is somewhat new in the travel agent world that loves to travel, it’s been a little hard lately to feel inspired. i have been telling myself i need a weekend trip or a day away just to clear the brain fog.

where i do still need that, what i got today was EXACTLY what i needed in the moment.

i got a text from a client that’s leaving for vacation THIS WEEKEND (whoop whoop) that needed to ask me some last minute questions. i ended up chatting with her a little bit, answered all her questions and it turns out...

that’s what i needed to clear the brain fog today! i don’t have to go off on some crazy vacation to get the inspiration i need because my clients bring me the inspiration.

at the end of the day, i’m here to be your genie in the lamp and... i LOVE that. (yeah, sure, i could still use a couple days away but that’s not the whole point.)

i love nerding out and getting excited with my clients on a vacation we’ve been working on together for months!
i love seeing videos and pictures of them telling their kiddos they’re going to disney for the first time!
or couples texting me because they’re super excited they’re going on their first vacation in a long time WITHOUT their kids 😅
and the honeymooners getting excited that they got first dibs on a room that opens the day they fly in because i stalked instagram and the website for updates!

i love this career. i love receiving that “do you have a second? i have a couple questions” text. i love the “we’re already discussing next year and we’re thinking about________. what do you think?” conversation. it gets my heart pumping and sends all the serotonin to my brain.

so, here’s to all of my loyal clients, my new friends and to my clients that don’t know they want to be my clients. i love to hear from you and will always get excited when i see your name pop up on my phone ❤️

peace out 20-21 school year!

it’s time to get serious about vacations and i have some serious news that this travel advisor can’t hold in anymore.

we have been begging fir things to get back to normal and fo open back up and not to be dramatic but IT’S HAPPENING!

✨disneyland is opening up for ALL guests, including out of state, JUNE 15th. wanna mix it up and go to cali? we can do that!
✨disney wish (disney’s newest cruise ship) opened bookings TODAY! are you ready to get back on a cruise ship? what better way to kick off summer 2022 than on the newest disney cruise ship?
✨disney world is raising capacity and the food and wine festival starts JULY 15th! the happiest celebration on earth (aka the 50th anniversary celebration) starts october 1st and will last 17 months!

i’m so excited, i may dance all day!
