Look Back and Looking Forward…

Ten years ago my husband and I visited a place that seemed so distant. Where East meets West, Istanbul, Turkey. The sights, sounds, and aromas were all different to what we knew. It felt like we walked around with our arms wide open. Taking it all in.

This year I am going back with a dear friend. I am looking forward to revisiting sights like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Basilica Cistern. Of course, the culinary scene is not to be missed. And the SHOPPING! Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, and the many Turkish Designers.

And after all that, one must re-energize with a luxurious Turkish Bath.
