Cayman Airways is continuing to assist the Cayman Islands Government with evacuating visitors and residents from the Cayman Islands ahead of major Hurricane Beryl. The airline confirms that an extra evacuation flight has just been added for this evening, July 2, 2024, from Grand Cayman to Miami as follows:

Flight KX3106 departs GCM at 6:10pm and arrives at MIA at 8:40pm.

Persons wishing to take advantage of this evacuation flight should book online at www.caymanairways.com to help alleviate the higher-than-usual call volumes to our call center. Travel agent partners can also assist with bookings.

Additional flights are being planned and will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

😢 This is a tragic story. Whenever you are at the beach, should you encounter rip tide currents, do you know how to exit one? Take a moment to research this important topic.

At So Serene Cayman and Moon Glow-Cayman Islands our beach is protected by a barrier reef and marine park. The only time to not be in our water is when there are bad storms. Otherwise the barrier reef prevents rip tide currents.

‼️ Be safe when visiting any beach and swimming in the ocean and know how to exit a rip tide current ‼️
