Disney Genie service will reimagine your experience at Disney Parks!

While the FASTPASS, FastPass+ and Disney MaxPass services will be retired, we’re incredibly excited about the flexibility and choices the all new Disney Genie service provides.

This new technology will guide you through the parks with tips to help you reduce your time in lines and take the guesswork out of “what’s next.”

For even more convenience and flexibility, there are two new options-

Disney Genie+ service (available for purchase): For the price of $15 per ticket per day at Walt Disney World Resort and $20 per ticket per day at Disneyland Resort, you can choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of attractions and experiences using the Lightning Lane entrance. You can make one selection at a time, throughout the day – from classics like Haunted Mansion to newer favorites like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run!

Individual attraction selections will also be available for purchase. You can schedule a time to arrive at up to two highly demanded attractions each day using the Lightning Lane entrance – like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom. Pricing will vary by date, attraction and park.

Lightning Lane selections will be made on the same day of your visit and can be used across multiple theme parks. Attractions will continue to offer a traditional standby queue, or a virtual queue at certain attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Choosing the best time of year to travel can be difficult. Here's some tips on how travel looks in the Dominican Republic throughout the year:

There are two distinct tourist high seasons: the summer months of July and August and the winter season between December and late February.

The Dominican Republic is in the center of the Caribbean hurricane belt and can be hit by storms especially during August and September.

If you want to go whale watching, the best time to travel is mid-January to mid-March.

Choosing your resort or hotel accommodations can be one of the hardest part of planning a trip. Lucky for you, I can help you narrow down your options. Here are the top three resorts we recommend if you are staying in the Dominican Republic:

My absolute favorite resort is Dreams La Romana. This resort is one of the most beautiful resorts I have ever stayed at. There is so much to do on this resort and they serve some of the best food I have had in a resort. I have never had better customer service than here. The beaches were beautiful and the water was smooth enough to fall asleep and float.

The second resort is Melia Punta Cana Beach. This is an adults only all-inclusive resort where you can have a quiet and relaxing week. Be sure to book an appointment at the spa while you are there as it is amazing.

The last resort is Dreams Punta Cana Spa and Resort. This resort is a more cost effective family all-inclusive option. There are several golf courses nearby for those who want to spend the afternoon on the greens and a Flamingo Lake where you can take picture with the beautiful birds.
