Northern Lights….I didn’t think I was going to get to see them because it had been so cloudy. But surprise…..we had to drive close to the Swedish Border. It was -27 Celsius, I had on three pairs of socks(one thermal pair), two pairs of pants, three shirts, my snow suit and theirs. I’m standing on a frozen river and also fell in the snow(imagine the scene from Christmas Srory). Even through all of that it was totally worth it to see those lights

Oh to be a kid again. The steps of the Lutheran Church in Helsinki. They were having a blast. I’ll be going back tomorrow with my snow pants on. I have to give it a try!! stay tuned

There is a Sauna house behind me. The ladies walked right out in there robes and got in the water. It was amazing that they didn’t flinch and made it seem so natural. I wasn’t brave enough to try. Five swim lessons wasn’t going to help me here! 🤣🤣

Had dinner at the Arctic Snow Hotel. This place is nothing short of amazing. It’s completely made of ice and snow. The entire building melts in the spring and summer. They rebuild 20 to 30 rooms every year and they are never the same. You can actually sleep in these ice rooms.
