On this day in 1733, General Oglethorpe lead 114 colonist up the 40 foot bluff from the Savannah River and founded this great city and the state of Georgia. Due to his contributions to this master planned city, this is one of the most walkable cities in the US with 22 of 24 squares still intact along with Forsyth Park south of our street. The preservation of Savannah allows you to walk back in time from Colonial times to the 1920s-30s. We love our city!!

We are 3 min drive from the famous (yet touristy) Pirate House —wonderful food and the site of oldest house in Georgia and mysterious tunnels that lead to the river. The drinks are strong for adults and the free costumes are well liked by the kids.

Well a Tybee Island staple has made Diners, drive-ins, and Dives!! Come check it out in person, or on TV Friday!

If you can keep a secret out here then ‘you ain’t Tybee’, but we did our darnedest.

This moment right here was nothing short of a dream come true. Thank you Guy Fieri, Citizen Pictures (the best crew!), Food Network, our Sundae Cafe staff, amazing customers and community.

Twenty years ago two Tybee kids opened up a cafe. What an incredible cherry on top this experience has been for us in celebrating that friendship, and every moment that’s led us here. We love you all, and are so proud to announce our appearance on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives this Friday night!

We love October!! It’s already in the 50s at night! I gave our entryway jockey an orange vest for the season, and we will be up next week to add some pumpkins to our entry way at Commodore Clark’s! While Oct is booked solid we have 3 weeks in Nov open, message us for details!
