Have you heard of May-cember? May is B-U-S-Y like December, but worse because there is no happy payoff with Christmas cookies and presents. 😂 Every week the calendar is full of graduations, award ceremonies, spring concerts, grad parties, field trips, big school projects, and on and on...

I'm wrapping up my Halfway to Halloween celebration today with my favorite way to add some extra spookiness to the season: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom!

This party is a MUST when visiting Walt Disney World during late summer and early fall. It's an exclusive event that requires a separate ticket for entry (park tickets won't get you in). That means lower crowds, and thus shorter waits for attractions...some that have been given a special Halloween twist!

The party will be held on select nights from late August through Halloween and allows you access to outstanding eerie entertainment in the form of parades, musical performances, a castle stage show, unique character meetings, special decor, etc. And, what's a Halloween party without trick-or-treating?! Candy stations are located around Magic Kingdom so that the young and the young at heart can take part in the sweetest Halloween tradition!

I anticipate more details regarding dates and prices for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party to be released VERY soon! Travel Tip #10: Rent a stroller in advance!

I always encourage my clients embarking on a Disney trip with young children to allow me to assist them in setting up a stroller rental in advance. In most instances, the stroller can be delivered to your Disney Resort hotel on the day of your arrival and picked up on the day of your departure, which makes it extremely convenient.

There are other benefits to setting up your stroller rental this way:

➡️No wasted time in the parks renting a stroller each morning
➡️The ability to have the stroller on the way back to your hotel (i.e., no carrying
exhausted/sleeping children after leaving the park)
➡️More cost-effective than a daily stroller rental
➡️The option to choose from a selection of premium strollers that best fit your needs

Many of my clients are surprised to learn this is even an option! That's my job... to provide you with information about all of the things you don't know that you don't know. If you have found yourself feeling an emptiness inside at the lack of pictures of yummy-looking Disney food in your feed, I am here today to fill that Mickey pretzel-sized hole in your life! It's been a bit, but Foodie Friday is back!

Today's spotlight is on a couple of mouthwatering meals you can dig into at Yak & Yeti in Disney's Animal Kingdom: the Ahi Tuna Nachos and a simple cheeseburger and fries.

Now, you might be thinking that there couldn't be two more different meals to put side-by-side, and to that I would say, "Yes! You are correct!" But, that is one of the things that makes dining in a Disney restaurant such a great experience for adults and kids alike!

Adults who are adventurous eaters can feel like they don't have to sacrifice a unique and flavorful dining experience, and kids (and those adults who like the simpler things when it comes to food) can still enjoy a more comforting familiar meal that is done well. That is why I always encourage my clients not to shy away from restaurants at Disney where they think their kids won't eat anything. Most every Disney restaurant has something for everyone!

You will need a reservation to dine at Yak and Yeti. Word has gotten out about the great things happening there, so reservations can be tough to get. If you book with me, you don't have to worry about that though. I can take care of securing all of your dining reservations and give you more great options and advice for making the most of your trip!
