We visited Green Acres Creamery this weekend and had a good time. It was their first year doing this, so I'm sure they will grow. They didn't have an actual pumpkin patch, hay rides or corn maze but all the activities were fun, very well put together and thought out. Everything was VERY clean and the staff was super friendly. Ice cream of course was delicious.


They are planning a Christmas event, so check them out and make plans to attend!

One of my families favorite summer time activities is blueberry and vegetable picking! We tend to end up at Prissy Branch for blueberries and Charlie's Upick it (Wiggins location) for veggies (and watermelon). If you're only here for a short while, you can pick as little or as much as you want!

Start early to beat the heat. An overcast day is best! Bring plenty of water, sunscreen and bug spray. We like to pack a little picnic and visit another favorite of ours, Flint Creek.
