🎁 Christmas is only 56 days away! 🎄 Looking for the perfect gift? Skip the things and give the gift of travel instead!

I can tell you from personal experience, that there's nothing like it. I’m 99% sure if I ask my girls what Santa brought them last year, they’d only remember a few things. But what they do remember? The magic of our Walt Disney World trip just before Christmas and the excitement of finding out we’d be going on an Alaskan Cruise that summer—a multigenerational adventure filled with laughter, wildlife, and memories we’ll talk about forever. 🎅✈️

Travel becomes part of who we are and stays with us long after wrapping paper and bows are gone. Let’s turn your family’s dreams into a journey they’ll never forget! 🌏💫

Hey folks,

Wrapping up our series with Animal Kingdom! Here are my top ride picks:

Classic Ride:
Kilimanjaro Safaris: This one is great for kids and parents of any age because of the variety of animals you’ll see. It’s fun to watch your children’s faces as you turn every corner and see something new. Be sure to schedule this one for early in the day—you’ll see more animals in the early hours.

New Rides:
Flight of Passage: I’ve personally never seen any of the Avatar movies, but you really don’t have to appreciate this 3D experience. Very cool; you definitely feel like you’re flying!

Bonus: Expedition Everest: This is a great roller coaster! But beware of taking kids that are new to thrill rides or scared by loud noises—it may get a bit scary for them.

Avoid:
Dinoland USA: This is like you stepped into your county fair…carnival games and crappy rides. We personally try to avoid this whole section of the park and focus on the fun stuff. (Good news for Will: This land will be replaced by Tropical Americas Land which will feature Encanto and Indiana Jones.)

Hope you enjoyed the series! Happy riding!

Will

Hey everyone,

Next up in our series is Hollywood Studios! Here are my top ride picks:

Classic Ride:

Star Tours: I had never seen any of the Star Wars movies before riding this when I was about 10 years old. It was an AMAZING ride and experience for me then and still is over 30 years later. This isn’t truly “old Disney” stuff, but it’s original to this park when it opened as MGM Studios.
New Rides:

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: This might be the most realistic experience of all the Disney parks. You actually feel like you are in the movie. Even if you’re not a SW fan, you’ll be impressed with the level of detail and authenticity of this one.
Bonus New: Slinky Dog Dash: This is a great choice for younger kids who are getting used to riding thrill rides. It’s a very smooth ride, and you feel like one of Andy’s toys. So much fun!!

Avoid:
I truly don’t have an avoid ride at HS. This is probably my favorite park at Disney!
Stay tuned for next week's favorite rides at Animal Kingdom!

Hey folks,

Continuing our series, let's talk about my favorite rides at Epcot! Here are my top picks:

Classic Ride:
Spaceship Earth: This one is nerdy, but it’s cool to experience. And it’s a comfortable place to sit for 15 minutes if you need a break. I wouldn’t take little kids on this one, but 5 years and up will find it cool if you help explain what is happening in each time period.

New Ride:
Guardians of the Galaxy: Hands down, this is one of my top rides in all the Disney parks. Even if you’re not a fan of the movies, the music and smooth ride are top-notch!

Avoid:
MISSION: Space: You’re locked in a tiny space for an extended amount of time that simulates a rocket launch. It’s comparable to a carnival ride. This one is trash; Disney should be ashamed they still have it.

Stay tuned for next week's favorite rides at Hollywood Studios!

Hey everyone,

We're kicking off a new 4-week series covering my favorite rides at each Disney park! I have to admit, I get a little sentimental because some of my favorite rides are ones that were around when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s. But there are some fantastic new ones too. I'll share my top rides at each park, highlighting "classic" rides that have been around for a while and "new" rides from the past decade or so. Plus, I'll give you a little "why" I love each one and a ride I think you should avoid. Let’s get started!

Week 1: Magic Kingdom

Classic Rides:

Pirates of the Caribbean: This was one of the original rides at Magic Kingdom. It's a throwback to some of the "Old Disney" that’s been preserved with new elements like Pirates of the Caribbean. Dads, this is a great ride to sit down and cool off if you're traveling in warmer weather.
Bonus Classic: Goofy’s Barnstormer: This one is near and dear to my heart because it's where my oldest daughter learned to love thrill rides with me! It’s a great option for little kids getting used to thrill rides. Try to catch it when lines are short as it’s a very short ride.
New Ride:

Splash Mountain/Tiana's Bayou Adventure: This isn’t exactly "new" since Splash Mountain has been around for a long time at MK, but it's getting a fresh update. It’s fun and lasts a pretty long time (12-15 minutes) compared to other shorter rides.
Avoid:

Mad Tea Party: A lot of you probably won’t like my opinion on this, but I detest this ride—it makes me motion sick to spin. Bring a plastic bag with you for this one. Also, avoid the Prince Charming Regal Carousel—why? You can do that at any county fair in America. You’re at Disney, people, don’t waste your time in a VERY slow-moving line!

Stay tuned for next week's favorite rides at Epcot!

Hey folks,

Wrapping up our Disney snacking series with Animal Kingdom! Remember to PACE YOURSELF!!! There are so many snacks and beverages to try, so you don’t have to eat everything at once. For a party of 4 or less, I recommend getting one snack item to split between every 1-2 rides. This way, you don’t overeat, waste food, and burn through money. And of course, get the refillable popcorn bucket—our girls love it!

Enjoy your tasty adventure at Animal Kingdom!

🌟✨ Enjoy Grown-Up Time While Your Little Ones Are Cared For! ✨🌟

Planning a Disney Cruise? Disney Cruise Line has got something magical for the youngest voyagers! At "it's a small world" nursery!, your little ones (ages 6 months to 3 years) can enjoy games, crafts, movies, or even a nap while you embark on your own adventures. 🎨🍼

Peace of Mind for Parents: Check on your children anytime, unnoticed, through a special window into the nursery’s main play area. 🌟👀

Limited Space: Because space at "it's a small world" nursery! is extremely limited, plan to book your child’s stay as early as possible. Reservations can be made on a first-come, first-served basis during the open house on Embarkation Day or anytime throughout your cruise. 📅✏️

Additional Fee: Childcare is available for an additional fee, ensuring your little ones get the best care possible from our expert Disney counselors. 💖

My Personal Experience: My family has personally used the nursery on the Disney Dream. Kate Allen went every night of our cruise when she was 18 months old. We took her there after dinner while we enjoyed the shows. The cast members were so friendly and even gave a report each night when we picked her up. She was usually asleep, and we would carry her back to our stateroom and put her in the pack-n-play.

What to Bring: The trained counselors are happy to feed or change your child. When dropping off your little one, please bring:
Baby food, formula or milk, and bottles
Diapers or pull-ups and diaper wipes
Extra clothing
A baby blanket
Pacifier

Enjoy your grown-up time knowing your little ones are in good hands at "it's a small world" nursery! 🛳️✨
