Big Paddle update!
Let me tell you about today...17.3 miles. The first 8, brilliant and beautiful, then the wind was at our faces, gusts up to 20mph. Our hats were blowing, arms aching! and eyes only on the next stop. Thankfully, we are here. Tomorrow, we have just over 15 miles north to go to get up into Tarpon Springs where we will finish at the splash park!
Still expecting to hit 75 miles!

Well yall, we had to call for today. Winds turning the water white, turning our kayaks its own way with 30mph worth of force - it was just too dangerous. Not to mention the thunder we can all hear in Tampa Bay. It was a hard call, but it had to be made. This isn't the end though!

We plan to pick back up right where we landed, Jungle Prada, on Monday. We reckon we have 3 days, 2 nights left. We accomplished nearly 42 miles in 2 days! So we have less than halfway to go.
