I heard about a week ago that because of all the recent rain there was not going to be further irrigation releases from PRID. The lake keeps going down from large releases and one has to wonder if this is just to get recreation closed early again? I know PRID sometimes keep ireleases going to make more money from hydroelectric. Does that have priority over recreation?

Lightning hit this Ponderosa late yesterday afternoon along Root Creek Road (south of marina). Actually saw it hit with loud shattering boom and large yellow glow.
