🎃 All of this halfway to Halloween talk has me thinking about my favorite Disney Villains. Meeting Cruella was so much fun!! Both Oogie Boogie Bash (Disneyland) and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (Disney World) give you the ultimate opportunity to meet some of the best Disney Villains. Have you had a chance to go to either of those parties yet? Any plans for this year??

Between Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios you have TWO Harry Potter lands, Seuss Landing, Illumination’s Minion Land, and coming this summer, DreamWorks Land featuring Shrek, Trolls and Kung Fu Panda rides and attractions!!! There’s plenty for the whole family.

Booking for 2025 Disney cruises has opened and right now is the best time to book!

Disney uses dynamic pricing for their cruises...prices increase as the number of available rooms decreases. So right now, when nearly all cabins are open, the pricing is at its most favorable.

✨ The Magic Happens Parade is ending October 15th! The Christmas Fantasy Parade debuts November 10th.

🚀 Space Mountain is still closed. Reopens 10/27.

🚤 It's a Small World closes 10/23

🛶 Mark Twain Riverboat is still closed with no reopening date announced.

👻 DCA closes at 6PM on the following days because of Oogie Boogie Bash. October:
1, 3 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31

🎇 Halloween Screams Show plays most nights at 9:30PM but there are only fireworks Friday-Sunday and on Halloween night!

🏨 The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel are now open and look AMAZING! I have a client already booked in the villas in January...let me know if you want more info on these brand new rooms.

Disney World:

🍴Narcoossee's in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is re-opening mid-October.

A couple years ago, I took my family to Hollywood Studios…we woke up late, didn’t have a plan for meals, and didn’t fully understand Genie+. We made it onto one ride by 2PM. ONE. ONE single ride before the heat and frustration got to us, and we left. I’ve learned a lot since then.

There is nothing more frustrating than paying $$$ for Disney tickets and only being able to ride two or three rides in a day. Whether this is a once in a lifetime trip, or you go to the parks regularly, there are ways to make the most of your park hours. Here are my tips for maximizing your Disney days!

Genie+ is the system that replaced Fast Passes at Disney parks a few years ago...and it's still confusing people. I put together a little cheat sheet guide to Genie+ at Walt Disney World.

Genie+ is ever so slightly different at Disneyland though...you must be IN the park to book your first lightning lane.
