I have two families headed to Disney this weekend and I am so excited for them to see my favorite Festival of the year at Epcot. It’s officially Flower and Garden time at Disney🌻

There are so many fun activities for all ages, including scavenger hunts, special food booths and attractions. But the best part is all of the amazing character topiaries you’ll find around the park. If you haven’t been to Disney during Flower and Garden you should definitely add it to your vacation list.

It’s forecast to snow in the south this weekend, and I’ve never wanted the Orlando sun more than I do thinking about this weather.

My fellow Georgians are not going to know what to do with themselves. As someone who spent a few years in Madison, WI, I would like to think I’m prepared. But I’ve never been one for the cold.

Anyway, I’ll just be here, freezing and looking forward to my next trip in two weeks! Let the countdown begin.

This Christmas was my first ever Disney Christmas.

I’ll be completely honest and say that I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the crowds this time of year. But at no point did I ever feel overwhelmed by the people around me, and our longest wait time was around an hour for a Lightning Lane we were unable to secure.

The was magical as always, and it was the perfect quiet and secluded escape.

Can you believe we are just one week away from Walt Disney Worlds 50th anniversary? For the next 18 months Disney will be throwing the ultimate celebration and it’s not too late to take part in the festivities.

Like always, the most creative brains at Disney have sprinkled all of the pixie dust, to transform each park in honor of this special event. Here are just a few things you can look forward to:

✨ Disney Enchantment, Magic Kingdoms newest fireworks show will bring the magic alive.
✨ Harmonious, a new fireworks spectacular in EPCOT will take over World Showcase Lagoon.
✨ Disney KiteTails, will premier at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This day-time show will feature three-dimensional kites of your favorite wild characters.
✨ The World’s Most Magical Celebration will light up with wonder as the theme park icons are transformed into Beacons of Magic, beckoning all to come and celebrate.
✨ Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opens, taking the whole family on a ride through through Paris and Gusteau’s Restaurant.
✨ Across all 4 theme parks, 50 golden characters wait to be discovered during The World’s Most Magical Celebration!
✨ Mickey, Minnie, and all of their friends have received pixie dust too, with outfits that sparkle with custom-made fabric and gold highlights.

Breakfast with Goofy and Pals is the perfect way to start the day before heading out and floating down the lazy river. Spend the day in the sun (or shade) snacking on yummy treats, and end your night with a movie by the pool or at their fabulous rooftop restaurant Capa.

Disney is in full Halloween mode with its classic pumpkin Mickey decor and annual celebration of all things spooky and magical!

My friends and I did Disney for a day to check out Boo Bash, at Magic Kingdom. We loved being able to hop on all of our favorite rides with ease, with almost no wait times for every attraction. And what’s not to love about your favorite Disney friends in their Halloween best?

We’re just over a month away from the 50th anniversary of the most magical place on earth. All of the parks have been transformed over the past few months and I can’t wait to see how amazing everything looks.

I myself will be in Disney for the 50th and I am beyond excited to share the magic you’ll be able to experience as Disney continues to celebrate the 50th into 2022.

This week I had the chance to stay in the newly renovated, Moana themed rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

I love the overall feel of the resort, you are transported to the islands while being a boat ride (or monorail ride once construction is finished) away from Magic Kingdom.

If you haven’t, you will definitely want to add a stay at the Polynesian Resort Village to your next vacation!

P.S. there is a spelling error 🙈 but I wasn’t going to make it all over again so please pretend it’s not there!

I’m headed back to my favorite place this week, with two of my favorites, to check out Disney’s Boo Bash! It’s going to be a night full of Spook-tacular tricks and treats, so be sure to follow along.

So excited for the “S” family who will be celebrating 2022 at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. With its close proximity to Epcot, a Skyliner stop nearby and Disney’s Boardwalk area right outside of your door, it offers so much for every family.

Plus you can’t forget Stormalong Bay, the ultimate resort pool area. My all time favorite though? Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, a retro stop where the burger is king and every day is sundae. Plus their walk-up window is back!

In case you missed it, Disney released important health and safety updates yesterday regarding face coverings at both Disneyland and Disney World.

“We are adapting our health and safety guidelines based on guidance from health and government officials, and will require Cast Members and Guests ages 2 and up, to wear face coverings in all indoor locations at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort beginning Friday, July 30, regardless of vaccination status.

At Walt Disney World Resort, this includes upon entering and throughout all attractions and in enclosed transportation vehicles, including shuttles, buses, monorails and at Disney Skyliner.”

So what’s does this mean for you?

✨ All guests ages 2 and up will continue to wear face coverings on Disney transportation.
✨ All guests ages 2 and up will need to wear face coverings while in line, on attractions and indoors.
✨ All vaccinated guests will be welcome to remove their face coverings while outside at the parks.
