Peace Paleo Adventures Walk in shark tooth and fossil hunting tours in central Florida. Unlike other tours, there's no need to kayak or canoe for miles to get to a fossil-rich area.

Join us for a unique and unforgettable fossil hunting adventure on Peace River in Wauchula, Florida! Our tours last from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and are perfect for novice to advanced beginner fossil hunters. Our property allows participants to walk in and start hunting, allowing for more time to search for shark teeth and fossils. Our passionate and knowledgeable guides will assist you with digging an

d identifying fossils, while providing valuable information on the geology and paleontology of the area. While we can't guarantee a megalodon shark tooth fossil or a museum-quality find, they are commonly found in the area we hunt. Our tours are suitable for participants aged 7 to 70, and we offer two guides for a maximum group size of 12 (minimum 2). The cost of the tour is $125 for adults and $90 for children aged 11 and under. This includes equipment such as shovels, sifting screens, and nail aprons, as well as premium quality dig shovels and sifters that have been river tested to produce the best results. As we walk through our property to access the river, there is a possibility of seeing native Florida wildlife and plants, such as barred owls and lemurs. Fossil hunting is a somewhat strenuous activity, so participants should wear river-appropriate swimwear and water shoes or sandals (but not Crocs, as they fill up easily and don't stay on well). We recommend bringing water, snacks, sunscreen, allergy medication, a sun hat, and dry bags for any electronics. Please note that in the state of Florida, you are required to have a permit to collect vertebrate fossils. Today, we salute the dads who know how to dig deep – literally! Whether you're out hunting for shark teeth or uncovering ancient fossils in sunny Florida, you're making every adventure a blast. A special shoutout to our head dino-dad, Lloyd, who always knows how to find the best treasures and keeps us laughing along the way.

🌞 This past Sunday funday was a blast! We found a nurse shark tooth, megs, a horse tooth, a giant tortoise spur, megalodon shark teeth, and more! 🦈
