Some shows taking advantage of the islands’ beautiful backdrops include: amazing race, wheel of fortune, the bachelor, days of our lives, saved by the bell, growing pains, and many more!

Taking a tour of the amazing kualoa ranch private nature reserve you will easily be standing on land a celebrity was once on. Just watch out for those dinosaurs 😉

There are plenty of other sites to visit such as the stage on which Elvis Presley once preformed at the Polynesian culture center, or even the land pictured in moana. The Sunny Travelers

Did you know Hawaii isn't the original home of the famous macadamia nut!! 🤔 Although today it is top 3 in the world production of the macadamia nut and is best known for its cultivation techniques. Its actual origin is Australia named after the famous john macadam. The tree was only introduced to Hawaii in 1882 as a windbreak for sugarcane fields, not being commercially produced until decades later in 1934 .

Fun fact friday: Hawaii is the only State in the USA to grow cacao and one of only two states that grow coffee plants commercially! (Ca being the other).

Coffee grown in Kona Being less then 1% of the worlds coffee production along with being grown in Volcanic soil makes it extremely rare!

No matter what island you are on, you can easily find yourself on a tour experiencing a beautiful coffee farm.

Although It’s not a major player in the worldwide coffee industry and never will be. It’s a couple of very small islands. Coffee will continue to be produced as it is one product that can actually be grown on the hilly, volcanic slopes on Hawaii’s islands.

Did you know 🤔 Hawaii is the ONLY state in the United States to ever have a King and a Queen! 👑

The Hawaiian Islands were joined in 1810 by Kamehameha The Great. The Kingdom of Hawaii lasted until 1893 when it was overthrown by the Missionary Party with assistance from the United States.

While Kalakaua was Hawaii’s last king, his sister, Queen Liliuokalani, has the distinction of being Hawaii’s last monarch. In a futile attempt to revert to an earlier Constitution and restore power to the monarchy, Liliuokalani was forced to step down during a coup by American businessmen. Thus, the Republic of Hawaii was born on July 4, 1894. Four years later, Hawaii became a territory of the United States. 🇺🇸

Mauna Kea in Hawaii is the tallest peak in the world! Stand at a whole 4,207 meters tall, not even half of Everest. Mauna Kea, however, is partially submerged: the base of the mountain is actually below sea level at the sea floor! Measuring from the floor it is 10,210 meters, making it the tallest mountain in the world.

This makes for an amazing place to star gaze and watch the sunset.
