Travel Agent Tip: The Festival of Fantasy parade in the Magic Kingdom is the best way to see LOTS of Disney characters! This 12 minute parade runs daily at 3pm in the Magic Kingdom all the way from Frontierland to Main Street, USA. My favorite place to view the parade is at either end of Main Street, USA because of the great views of Cinderella Castle behind the parade floats!

Last night I completed the online check in for our upcoming Disney cruise and today I'm going to tell you how it all works! First-timers can check in 30 days prior to their sail date, and Castaway Club members can check in earlier depending on their Castaway Club membership status. (As soon as you have been on 1 Disney Cruise, you are automatically a Silver Castaway Club member and can check in 33 days in advance.)

To check in online, you'll need to upload photos of the citizenship documents (passport OR your government issued photo ID AND your original birth certificate) as well as a head shot (photo of your face from the shoulders up with no hat or sunglasses), for each member of your travel party. You can check in from the Disney Cruise Line app or website, but whether you check in from your phone or a computer, I suggest having a folder with the photos you will need to upload ready to go and easily accessible to make online check in go more quickly.

Check in opens at midnight, and that's when I recommend doing it. The earlier you check in, the earlier your Port Arrival Time and Boarding Group number, which means the sooner you can get on the ship and start your Disney Cruise Line vacation!

At Disney Cruise Line’s restaurant, Animator’s Palate, you can create your own hand-drawn animated character and watch as it comes to life during your dinner! This fun dining experience is available on 4 of Disney’s ships and is included with your cruise fare! It’s my favorite Disney Cruise Line restaurants, and not just because of the animation. The penne pasta with feta and pesto is SO GOOD! 🎨🖌️🍝
