Many thanks to the Mercer Area Sno-goers and White Thunder Riders for all they do to get the trails ready!

The Iron County snowmobile trail system will open for the season on Thursday January 16th at 7:00 a.m. . Riders can expect very early season conditions with many rough areas and thin spots. We definitely can use more snow but we were able to get a solid base earlier in the year. Please watch for trail condition updates from the clubs as they continue to work with what we have.

This family-friendly Mercer vacation home is located on the waterfront, within a 15-minute walk of Mercer Depot Museum, Grand Portage Lake, and Carow Park. Turtle-Flambeau Scenic Waters Area and Lake of the Falls are also within 6 mi (10 km).

We are seeing a lot of trucks and trailers in town. OUR TRAILS ARE CLOSED and we will not be open this weekend. When we are ready to open we will let you know. This goes for ATVS/UTVs as well, you are ruining our base by driving on them right now, trails are closed for all and you will be turned in to law enforcement if caught riding on the trails.

Public Service Announcement: we do and will continue to have select club members out packing swamps, that doesn't give the okay for everybody to do so, there is select areas that we know where we can go.
