🤔🚢I often get asked, “When are Disney Cruise Line rates the lowest?” First answer is, of course, when itineraries are first released. 🐦 The early bird absolutely gets the worm. Second suggestion is during hurricane season. (Think summer into early fall) Is it risky to book during hurricane season? It’s timeless fun that needs to be on your itinerary for sure, BUT...don’t just buzz by this area after the show or in a rush to get to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. Beaches Turks & Caicos - Day 4 & 5 Trip Report:
Day 4 was a busy day! My fellow Magical Vacations Travel agents who were training with me headed home today. I was joined by my amazing significant other, Lee, who flew in for the weekend to enjoy a few days in paradise with me.
After a great buffet breakfast at Reflections restaurant in the Caribbean Village, I bid my friends goodbye and went up to the lobby to meet Lee, who was due to arrive from his early morning flight.
I was excited to show Lee around the resort so we dropped his things off at the room, and started the tour with my favorite daily stop for an iced coffee and a cookie from Cafe de Paris. After his tour, we went for a swim to cool off and spent some time at the swim-up pool bar. After our swim, we made our way to Arizona’s for a BBQ lunch buffet and Lee got his first glimpse of the incredible ocean.
After lunch, we went back to the room to change for the fitness center as Lee wanted to get his daily workout in, and I wanted to take pictures. For the record, I got a lot of steps in taking pictures so that totally counts as my workout! 🤷🏻♀️🤣
After our respective workouts, we headed back to shower and rest up before dinner. Dinner was at Le Petit Chateau, I enjoyed it so much the first time, I knew I wanted Lee to experience it as well. We got there at peak dinner time, so there was about an hour wait to be seated inside but no wait to dine outdoors. The sun was going down so it was just the right temperature for a pleasant meal outdoors. We decided on the scallop appetizers, the signature shrimp dish, and the lobster special, and it was amazing. For dessert, we chose the crème brûlée and chocolate cake. The meal did not disappoint!
Someone compared the resort to camp, and I loved that and felt like it was so true in all the best possible ways. There are so many things going on during the course of your stay, you can always find something to do, or nothing at all if that is more your speed. We planned on checking out the Family Feud game show on the main stage after dinner. The staff do a great job with these shows and keeping everyone engaged. Lots of laughs for sure and great way to wrap up another awesome day!
Day 5 was sadly my last day at Beaches Turks & Caicos. We woke up early and had breakfast at Mario’s. Mario’s is open for breakfast and dinner. They serve a great buffet breakfast with an omelet station. Our waiter talked us into mimosas, although in his defense, it didn’t take much convincing! While at Beaches and Sandals resorts, it can take some time before you remember that everything is included (including tips and gratuities), so the entrees and drinks that you would normally skip at home, you are encouraged to get while at Sandals and Beaches! Torn between a few different entrees? Order them all! We did this many times and the staff encourage it. 😊
After breakfast, we headed back to our room to pack up. We had plans later to move to another resort on the island, but we were going to stay at Beaches as long as possible to take advantage of all the resort had to offer. We had a busy day planned including a rousing game of pickleball, getting some more social media content, pooltime wi the drinks at the pool bar, having lunch at Neptunes, and getting some pizzas to take with us to the next resort.
When you make it to Beaches Turks and Caicos, make sure you leave time to eat at Neptunes, a cute little outdoor restaurant that overlooks the beach. Not only is the view amazing, we had some amazing meals here. But the highlight of every meal was the shrimp bruschetta! It’s so light and fresh and full of flavor, I am going to crave this for months!
We stayed until about 4:30 and then it was time to say goodbye. The amazing staff in the French Village lobby got us some cold waters and got us a taxi to take us to our next stop and sadly, my amazing trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos came to an end.🩵

Beaches Turks & Caicos - Day 2 & 3 Trip Report:
⛱️ Day 2 was a very busy day of training, as well as property and room tours.
We started with a quick but delicious breakfast in the Key West Village at Bayside. This restaurant is just steps from the ocean and has the most stunning views of Grace Bay Beach, and had a fresh and efficient buffet setup that had our tummies full and happy in no time.
Ater breakfast, we walked over to the meeting room in Key West Village and got started on a jam packed day of training and touring. Training included room tours in each Village & Category, as well as time with Resort management, the Wedding department, Recreation & Scuba/Snuba, Kids Club & Xbox Lounge, Red Lane Spa, and concluded with a sampling of options from Soy, the popular sushi restaurant on property.
After training, we decided it was time to cool off and we headed to our amazing pool in the French Village for a little relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed the swim up bar and leisurely swim before heading back to our room to shower and change for a late dinner at Le Petit Chareau, the French restaurant on property that wowed us! Not only was the food excellent, the service was pretty amazing. The waitress overheard us torn between two appetizers so she brought out the one we were torn on to also try. And then when the crème brûlée was out for the night, she went out of her way to find us one! It’s the little things that stand out the most and can make or break a trip, and the employees here at Beaches Turks and Caicos will certainly be what I remember when I return home, aside from the incredibleness that is Grace Bay Beach, and all the Turks have to offer.
⛱️ Day 3 was much more leisurely then Day 2. We woke up early and got lots of pictures and content of the resort before guests were up and moving, which made for a nice and serene morning! We then headed to breakfast at Mario’s for another amazing breakfast buffet, this time with an omelet station.
After breakfast, we headed back to our room to get ready for some time at the beach. It ended up being the perfect beach day, although I suspect most are here! We spent hours in the water, it was a dream!
By mid-day, we were starving and decided to eat at Neptune’s which was just steps away from our beach chairs. Neptune’s is a Mediterranean seafood restaurant and lunch had options like sandwiches/salads and burgers to seafood options like shrimp bruschetta and grilled Mahi Mahi. I’m never one to turn down a great fish dish and it did not disappoint! We also got a few entrees for the table to share, which became the normal thing for us to do. When it’s all included, why not?!
After lunch, the ocean called us back and we couldn’t resist spending a few more hours just relaxing in the water. By late afternoon, we were all ready for some air conditioning! Sunscreen is a must here, I got a little more toasty than I realized!
Dinner was at Mario’s, and we were wowed by the options and the impressive appetizer buffet offered before the a la carte entrees. Most of our table got the chicken parm, the signature dish, and everyone really enjoyed it. I opted for the striploin streak and was not disappointed. We also got an order of fettuccine alfredo and the salmon special for the table and it was all great.
After dinner, it was time to meet up with our group for cocktails and to say goodbye to everyone, as most are heading home today.
I’ll be staying on the island through the weekend and can’t wait to share more with you! 🩵

Beaches Turks and Caicos - Arrival Day Trip Report:
Early bird gets the…traffic free ride to JFK!
10/10 recommend an early flight from JFK! I know, I know. No one likes getting up in the wee hours just to catch an early morning flight. And yes, there are closer airports if you’re in the South Jersey area. But to me, it’s all about an early flight time to maximize my time at the resort! From the Northeast, Turks & Caicos is an easy, direct flight, just over 3 hours. Once I landed, I found PLS airport to be small, but they kept things moving and I got through Customs in about 15 minutes.
Once through Customs, I headed outside to the Beaches transportation desk. One of the best parts of a Sandals\Beaches trip are all of the inclusions, and that includes airport transfers! The staff had me checked in and my luggage tagged for my room in no time. My driver was friendly and efficient with the luggage, and we were off in a few minutes.
Beaches Turks & Caicos is a quick 15-minute ride from the airport, and you’re greeted by the most amazing staff and cool towel as soon as the driver pulls up to the resort. My room is a Luxury Room in the French Village so I was brought to the French Village to check in. I was offered a cool drink, got an overview of the property, and was off to explore!
While waiting for my fellow agents to arrive, I explored the resort a bit and got myself orientated to the property and all it had to offer. I stopped for a quick snack and an iced mocha at Cafe de Paris, a great little coffee & pastry shop, and found a spot to sit by the pool to exhale and enjoy my surroundings.
A bit later, my friends arrived and we had a great buffet lunch at Reflections in the Caribbean Village lobby. Unlike many “all-inclusive” resorts where they have a restaurant or two, Sandals and Beaches properties offer so much variety and 5-Star dining. At Beaches Turks & Caicos, there are over 21 dining options so you could stay here a week and still not hit up all there was to offer! And don’t forget, that your premium liquor is also included!
After lunch, we went back to the French Village as our room was ready! We got settled in our room and ready for our evening welcome activities and dinner at Schooners Grill, right on the beach.
After dinner and a leisurely walk back, I was exhausted and went right to bed to prepare for a busy day of training and resort tours.
All in all, Day 1 was pretty amazing!

While the Moms Panel dream never came to fruition, it helped me dream another dream, to find an outlet for all this Disney “magic” I have in my veins. It’s been an honor to have helped my friends, family, and even strangers in the grocery store plan their own dream trips over the years, but now I can take that a step further!
