After watching Mary Poppins last night with my babies, my son asked why Mrs. Banks wore a “Votes for Women” sash. 🗳️
I explained to him that at one point in our nation’s history, women were not allowed to make decisions for themselves.
He then replied, “But Mommy, you make decisions all of the time!” 🥰😂
I am thankful for all of the women that fought before me to give us the freedom to be whomever we choose to be!

🫶Today I am thankful for this man that I met during a simple cell phone transaction. The instant chemistry between us was magnetic, and I couldn’t forget his face. Since then, we have started a life together coparenting our beautiful children and going on as many Disney vacations as possible to create memories.
Somehow you manage to tolerate me at my worst, but encourage me to be my best. You remind me that not everything in life has to be what others expect it to be. Because of you, I have learned what it’s like to be loved, respected, and have the utmost trust.

So, to make up for it, I am posting this on Day 8 to express my gratitude for being able to nurture young minds and souls wherever I go. Whether it be as a substitute or in a studio, being able to plant seeds of love is a gift within itself. 🌸 🌱
