ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT A CRUISE?

I want to touch on a few topics for those who are new to cruising or those who have been on a cruise and had an OK experience or not so great experience because cruises are definitely an experience doesn’t mean it will always be a good one.

1. IF you are traveling with kids, family cruise is great there are pools for the kids, roller coasters, basketball courts, jungle gyms, shows, buffets, kids daycamp, theaters, lip-synch battles, foam parties, glow parties. The possibilities for children are endless. But did you know that option is not on every cruise ship?

2. If you are traveling solo or with adults, only did you know that there are cruise lines specifically for adult only’s or even luxury cruises? or maybe you’re traveling with your partner and you want a kid free week on the cruise. There’s a ship for that.

3. Picking the right travel advisor is also important. A travel agent that is focused on How big of a package you get and not telling you how much money you can save may not be the right fit for you.

4. A travel agent that is going to get you perks make sure all hidden cost are avoided.(because there can be lots of them) and having a agent who is not trying to be a sales man and sell you things but to make sure you have an experience will go along way.

5. When it comes to finances, there are several ways to fund a cruise, but that really depends on what cruise company you choose, and what ship line of that company you decide to travel with that’s a lot of information right I’d love to make it simple for you most cruise lines will have you put down a deposit and pay the rest off. There are also other options where you can finance the trip and of course the traditional method of paying for it all at once.

That was a mouth full, but I love to make it simple for you. Im here to create a cruise experience because what I’ve noticed is, if you do it right families and singles will look forward to their annual cruise. 1. Arts & culture - Venture to the Wynwood neighborhood to explore the world's greatest collection of street art

2. Miami Beach culture crawl- the third Thursday evening of each month. Walk, bike or drive to your favorite places, or ride the free trolley to visit venues offering special exhibits and programs for the event. See art, hear music, watch a film and meet some of the people who work behind the scenes

3. Bass art museum- contemporary art museum offers free admission on the last Sunday of every month from 2 - 4 p.m. Admission is free for kids ages 6 and younger every day.

4. Beach - There is a minimal fee to park at the beaches of Key Biscayne, a residential island off of mainland Miami, but it’s worth it because this is an incredibly beautiful spot. Crandon Park Beach is a three-mile-long beach with walking and biking trails, beach volleyball nets, shelters for shade and barbecue grills available for the ideal beach day. At the tip of Key Biscayne, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is known for its pristine beach and historic lighthouse.

5. Metro mover - When heading from point A to point B for free fun in Miami, consider the Metromover. This free elevated people-mover loops throughout the Downtown Miami and Brickell areas. It will take you to the doorstop of restaurants, shops and museums

6. Street festivals (kids & adults)- Viernes Culturales and Big Night in Little Haiti are monthly street festivals showcase some of what gives this area its fascinating multicultural identity. Big Night in Little Haiti happens on third Fridays.

On the last Friday of the month, head across town to Little Havana for Viernes Culturales (Cultural Fridays). Both offer live music, vendors, arts and crafts, food, children’s activities and more.

7. Free movies- Enjoy movies outdoors without charge. They’re shown on the Soundscape screen at the ExoStage, corner of 17th Street and Washington Avenue in Miami Beach.

8. Culture with the kids - Kids can enjoy museums, too, especially with targeted specifically for them. The Museum of Art + Design in the Freedom Tower runs GO GO MOA+D the third Saturday of the month from noon to 4 p.m.

9. Bike tours- Whether it’s around Wynwood or Coconut Grove, free bike tours are a great way to spend the morning outdoors exploring to of Miami’s best known neighborhoods.

The Sunday Wynwood bike tours are great for discovering the wall murals that have put the area on the national map as one of best art scenes around.

10. Farmers market - Even when you don’t need locally grown organic vegetables, these markets are great places to people-watch or pick up non-food items, such as jewelry and accessories. Some offer extras including live music, exercise classes and more. Find Miami Farmers Markets.
