If you’ve been following my stories, you know I’m down (or up/over depending on where you live) in the Blue Ridge Mountain area of North Carolina. My dad and brother have joined Tom and I on an amazing motorcycle trip. So far we’ve ridden 1,861 miles through North Carolina - with a little bit of that in Tennessee, Virginia, and South Carolina! (And up until the last 10 miles, the sun has been shining and we’ve been totally dry.)

One of the best parts about riding every paved backroad we can find, is that we also come across some beautiful sites. Mountain overlooks, rushing waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain biking, zip lining, whitewater rafting…this area has everything! Whether you’re looking for a weekend away where you can loose yourself in nature, take your family on an action packed adventure, or explore one of the many quaint towns with their unique shops and restaurants, this area has something for everyone.
